Hudson Theatre Works presents its Annual 10 Minute Play Festival Benefit

(WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- Hudson Theatre Works presents two benefit performances of it’s annual 10 Minute Play Festival to benefit the theatre company. This year includes new plays written by some of our most illustrious playwrights, including J John Patrick Shanley, Richard Vetere, Barbara Blatner, Joanne Hoersch, Zach Weed, Lenny Horst, and Sarah T. Schwab. Performances take place Friday and Saturday, December 9th and 10th at 8:00pm.



Visual Arts Center of New Jersey Receives Multiple Grants

Imperial Brass presents "Christmas Rejoicing" in Westfield and Morristown

(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- Imperial Brass presents "Christmas Rejoicing" in Westfield and Morristown this December. Each performance includes holiday favorites such as Farandole, Sleigh Ride, Trepak and White Christmas, brass band arrangements of Christmas selections – and a sing-along.



Free Intro to Greek Dance Workshop with the Hellenic Dancers of NJ

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Kick off the holiday season with the Hellenic Dancers of NJ at a FREE “Intro to Greek Dance Workshop” on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel, NJ. National Book Award Winner Terrance Hayes To Have Reading At Warren County Community College

(WASHINGTON, NJ) -- The Warren County Community College Visiting Authors Series continues on Tuesday, December 6, with a reading and master class by the poet Terrance Hayes. The reading, beginning at 7:30pm in room 123A, is free and open to the public. 



"Hairspray" comes to Count Basie Center for the Arts

NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents a Spring Season of Jazz with free monthly jazz jams at Clement's Place and two special concert events inside the Victoria Theater. This series, running from September through June, is co-presented by NJPAC's Jazz Advisory Committee and Rutgers University–Newark's Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS). PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Megan Thee Stallion to make her Broadway debut in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical"

Taking the stage for a strictly limited 8-week engagement, Megan will light up the Al Hirshfeld Theatre from Tuesday, March 24th to Sunday, May 17, 2026, promising an unmissable, moment in the show's legendary run.
