(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- A unique and emotionally charged art exhibit that seeks to address the urgent issue of gun violence will be on display starting June 30 at the Noyes Arts Garage of Atlantic City.
"Satellites" will make its world premiere this July at the aptly named Premiere Stages at Kean University. Having previously won the 2022 Premiere Play Festival, the show penned by Erin Breznitsky will celebrate its first full stage production under the direction of Premiere Stages' Artistic Director, John J. Wooten.

(RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) -- Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Bergen County Parks Department invite the public to celebrate the Fourth of July with a free concert by the New Jersey Wind Symphony. The music performance will take place on July 3rd and July 4th at The Amphitheater at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park. Performances are scheduled to begin at 7:00pm
(BURLINGTON, NJ) -- Arts Ed NJ has been approved for a $100,000 Grant for the Arts Projects Award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The grant was awarded to expand statewide support for arts education by publicly sharing information about arts education and its benefits in New Jersey, including data about student access to, and participation in, arts education.
"I did three months of solid work on the music before the tour and then another month of administration on visas, flights, hotels and the music; it was quite stressful and a lot of work but it is what we do," laughed a very jovial Martin Barre as he discussed his latest "A Brief History of Tull" tour featuring nothing but songs from the legendary rock band.

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. Loss, we've all suffered it. Some of us more than others,some less and still yet there are those of us who've not had loss of any significance to this point. Loss, like anything else, is directly related to perspective. What may seem like a huge loss to one, is insignificant to another. People pass away, bad days do the same, they fade into the night or disappear at the bottom of one's favorite drink until they are swept away by the morning's sunrise and things are new. Some loss stays a bit longer, adding scars to our bodies until they become topographical maps of memories; reminders of what not to do or what we didn't do or should've done.
