NJPAC presents Halloween Queens of RuPaul's Drag Race

The Newton Theatre presents From Good Homes

(NEWTON, NJ) -- New Jersey jam band legends, From Good Homes, will perform at The Newton Theatre on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 8:00pm.The genesis of the band dates back to a high school, when childhood friends Todd Sheaffer, Brady Rymer, and Patrick Fitzsimmons came together in rural, Northwestern New Jersey. With the addition of Dan Myers in 1988, and Jamie Coan in 1990, the band From Good Homes was fully formed.



Mountain Creek Resort presents Oktoberfest this Weekend

(VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Home to New Jersey's favorite Oktoberfest celebration, Mountain Creek Resort pulls out all the stops for this one-of-a-kind fall festival that takes place September 16-17, 2023. Adults can participate in lawn games like the stein and pie eating contests, lumberjack contest, hay bale toss and wife carrying relay, or battle it out in a classic sack race, while kids enjoy petting zoos, bounce houses and face painting. Guests can also take free sky rides on the Mountain Creek lift or experience Mountain Coaster rides for just $15 per ride.



8th Annual Indie Street Film Festival Takes Place This Week

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The eighth annual Indie Street Film Festival (ISFF), presented by Basie Center Cinemas, takes place September 13-17, 2023. ISFF 2023 will kick off at the Vogel theater with the NJ Premiere of I Like Movies, written and directed by Award-winning Canadian filmmaker Chandler Levack. The remainder of ISFF runs in person at Basie Center Cinemas (36 White Street, Red Bank, NJ). Feature-length films, short films, filmmaker Q&As, and panels with industry professionals will be presented.








Cape May Stage presents "The Garbologists"

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents The Garbologists by Lindsay Joelle from September 13 to October 22, 2023. Directed by Roy Steinberg, this is an unconventional buddy comedy play that follows two sanitation workers in the cab of a New York City garbage truck. Tasked with picking up what the world has discarded, they learn there's more that binds them than just picking up the trash.



Bergen County's Music at the Barn presents a Rockabilly Extravaganza on Sunday

(HACKENSACK, NJ) – Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the County's Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs invite the public to attend a free music concert featuring Crash Gordon & Debra Dynamite with Dave Del Monte on Sunday, September 17, from 4:00pm – 6:30pm at the Wortendyke Barn Museum, a County Historic Site (13 Pascack Rd, Park Ridge, NJ). This is the third concert in the music series.

Roxey Ballet Announces its Fall 2023 Season

(FRENCHTOWN, NJ) -- Roxey Ballet is pleased to announce its exciting lineup for the Fall 2023 season of dance and is kicking off with its first-ever Dancing on the Green event. Dancing on the Green is a community initiative that creates a unique opportunity for the Roxey Ballet Company to perform in rural areas and offer arts enhancements for green areas and farm-based businesses throughout Hunterdon County, NJ, in support of their mission to make the arts accessible to all. This unconventional partnership resulted from collaborative efforts by the Hunterdon County Cultural Heritage Commission, the Hunterdon County Office of Economic Development and Tourism, Roxey Ballet Executive Director Mark Roxey, and Old York Cellars.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
