OCC Repertory Theatre Company presents "Doctor Frankenstein"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company presents Doctor Frankenstein, a new play by George Allison that asks the question, "What if Mary Shelley got it wrong... on purpose?" Performances take place in the Black Box Theater at the Grunin Center for the Arts from Thursday, October 26 through Sunday, November 5, 2023.



Centenary Stage's Fringe Festival presents ALONE: Stories by Edgar Allan Poe

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's Fringe Festival 2023 continues with ALONE: Stories by Edgar Allan Poe starring Daniel Hall Kuhn. Performances take place October 26-29, 2023 in the Kutz Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center of the Centenary University campus at 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ. This multi-disciplinary immersive show brings six stories and poems by Poe, including The Raven, Tell Tale Heart and Annabel Lee to life through Kuhn's performance.



NJPAC presents Bonnie Raitt

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Bonnie Raitt and members of her longtime touring band are bringing the "Just Like That..." tour to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for a performance on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 7:30pm. Raitt is a singer, songwriter and guitarist whose unique style blends blues, R&B, rock, and pop. After 20 years as a cult favorite, she broke through to the top in the early 90s with her GRAMMY-award winning albums, Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw, which featured hits, "Something To Talk About" and "I Can't Make You Love Me" among others.

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Remember Jones and Axelrod Performing Arts Center are excited to announce very special guests as part of their theatrical celebration of The Who's rock opera Tommy, running six performances from November 10-19, 2023. Please note: this is NOT the musical Tommy, but a special theatrical concept concert of The Who's original rock opera.

(TEANECK, NJ) -- It's Lights! Camera! Activism! at the live portion of the 18th Teaneck International Film Festival, Thursday – Sunday, November 9-12, in three Teaneck venues: Teaneck Cinemas, Puffin Cultural Forum, and Temple Emeth. Talkbacks are included at many of the films, with people whose backgrounds and experience provide insight into the subjects of the features, shorts, and documentaries that are on the program. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
