Pebble Players presents "Shrek Jr, The Musical"

Published by New Jersey Stage

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Pebble Players presents Shrek Jr, The Musical with performances January 20-22 and January 27-29.  It's everyone's favorite ogre! Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek Jr., The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure that brings all of the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage as it proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek..." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue.  Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen over fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero... Luckily there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

This Pebble Players show is fun for all ages, but they only allow kids 5 years old and up to see the show.  Show dates are January 20-21 and January 27-28 at 7:30pm; January 22 and January 29 at 2:00pm. Remaining tickets are available for purchase online and also at the door (but be sure to call first to see if the show is sold out as a few dates already are).

Pebble Players is located at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, New Jersey.
