Paradox Museum Officially Welcomes Guests at American Dream

(EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ) -- On August 10, 2023, Paradox Museum New Jersey hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony, marking its official opening to the public at American Dream, the Northeast’s premier entertainment, shopping, and dining destination.  Tickets to the highly anticipated entertainment venue, the third Paradox Museum location to open in the US, are now available.

“An incredible amount of time and effort went into making today possible - our staff is excited to begin welcoming guests at Paradox Museum New Jersey,” said Marc Gregory Tipton, regional sales and marketing manager, Paradox Museum. “Each of our 70 exhibits were designed to wow and inspire – all guests need to do is check their expectations at the door! They’re guaranteed to leave mystified and with a camera gallery full of memories that will surely take their own social media followers’ curiosity to the next level.”

A trip through the museum will take visitors approximately 60-90 minutes, and along the way, guides, outfitted in specially designed QR Code jumpsuits, will be ready to assist visitors as they explore each exhibit. As educational as it is fun, the guides will also be able to explain the science behind each of the paradoxes they encounter, including the popular Upside Down Room, Paradox Tunnel and Paradox Couch. The museum will also include the Paradox Boutique where visitors can purchase souvenirs, games, clothing, accessories, and gadgets exuding paradox. The collection of fun, entertaining and educational products has been curated to challenge perspectives to exercise the brain.

“We are thrilled to add the Paradox Museum to our attraction offerings at American Dream,” said Bryan Gaus, senior vice president and general manager, American Dream. “From the moment guests enter the museum, they will be transported to what feels like another dimension with what can only be described as impossible, mind-bending experiences.”

Coinciding with its official opening, Paradox Museum New Jersey will also be unveiling two newly introduced Snapchat filters that guests can utilize to add another dimension to their journey as they interact with the exhibits. In connection with the experience guests will have with the Paradox Table exhibit, the corresponding “Condiments” Snapchat filter will give guests the ability to experiment with their creativity in the digital world. Once they take their photo, their head will appear as if it’s the main course on a dinner plate with options to add a variety of condiments to their heads.

“At the Paradox Museum, there’s nothing more important to us than the guest experience – we want it to be unforgettable,” added Marc Gregory Tipton. “Inside our walls, our guests are guaranteed to have an experience like no other, and now thanks to our new Snapchat filters, that experience can be taken with them, giving them the ability to create fun and engaging content at any time.”

The second Snapchat filter will give guests the ability to enhance the experience they have with the Paradox Challenge, an exhibit which uses camera trickery to help guests recreate the Paradox Museum logo in their own image making it appear as if they’re holding on to a balloon upside down. With the “Balloon Guy” Snapchat filter, guests can now take that experience with them, and share it with their friends on their own social media channels, no matter where they may be.
