Jackie June continues creating super infectious, original tunes with her latest single, “Falling Apart.”
Co-written and produced by fellow artists, Jacob Kulick (Enci Records, RCA) and April Rose Gabrielli (SoHo Records, BMG), the hopeful tune is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Falling Apart” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on April 1 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com.
Jacob and April Rose also produced and recorded the single. June connected with them last summer, a year after starting to write the song, and immediately knew she wanted to collaborate.
“They really understood me as an artist and brought my vision for the song to life.” June said. “I’ve been fighting an eating disorder for as long as I can remember. I finally started getting the help I need, and the process of recovery has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I wanted to write a song about the healing process and how we have to go through some really difficult, painful stuff to get to a better place.”
The adorable music video for “Falling Apart” was filmed and directed by Tom Flynn.
