(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- Magnolia Productions presents The Vagina Monologues across two weekends from June 12-20, 2026 at the Navesink Library. A whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning play features personal monologues from women of various ages, races and sexualities.
The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape and a feminist happy to have found a man who “liked to look at it.”
The Vagina Monologues explores consensual and non-consensual sexual experiences, body image, genital mutilation, direct and indirect encounters with sexual reproduction, vaginal care, menstruation, prostitution, and several other topics through the eyes of women of various ages, races, sexualities and other differences.
Performances take place Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 2:00pm & 7:30pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Navesink Library is located at 149 Monmouth Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.
The Vagina Monologues premiered off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre NYC on October 3, 1999. Supervised by Joe Mantello, the production starred author Eve Ensler.
