The pop-rock duo Highwind's latest single, "Sugar" was released on March 11th. This is the second single off of the bands upcoming LP Something Right In Between - scheduled for release on May 6th.
"Sugar is as candy-coated pop of a song as you can get - literally. It’s a song about comparing going through a breakup, realizing that you are worth more than the negative treatment you are given, and comparing that to candy and the, ‘sweeter,’ things in life," explained Chris Russo (Highwind vocalist).
Highwind is the pop-rock passion project of New Jersey singer-songwriter, Chris Russo and drummer, Dan Smith. Highwind’s aim as a pop-rock act is to tell an honest, relatable story by means of catchy hooks, colorful guitar parts, and infectious rhythms.
