"The Lights Place to Place" by Kathleen Beausoleil. Oil on Panel 11 x 14in

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Galerie Lucida presents an exhibition, and pop-up art event, The Endless Summer Art Fair, opening Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00pm- 9:00pm, and running through August 31st. Inspired by the observational paintings of Kathleen Beausoleil's regional scenes of local beaches and favorite summertime pastimes, including Fair Haven's Fireman's Fair, Galerie Lucida was moved to center a Pop-Up Art Fair around Beausoleil's summer themed works.

Local visual artist, Kathleen Beausoleil, primarily produces oil on canvas or panel and ink to explore human social interaction and the territorial behaviors that operate in crowds.

Galerie Lucida will be showcasing Kathleen’s original oil paintings alongside an eclectic collection of one of a kind hand crafted artisan works of ceramic vessels, jewelry and more. The Endless Summer Art Fair offers the beautifully handmade jewelry stylings of Ben Salmon’s wool felted statement pieces and Trish Classe Gianakis’s innovative customizable LED handbags that will surely get you noticed.

In addition to wearable signature pieces, The Endless Summer Art Fair highlights Lisa Bagwell’s quirky assemblage sculptures made from detritus found on the beach and Ann Cofta’s playful fabric constructions featuring everyday objects including matchbooks and popsicles to scenic views of water towers in cityscapes.

Accompanying original work from local and regional artists will be the introductory launch of our Lucida Editions Print Program. Galerie Lucida will be offering Limited Edition Giclee Prints of original artwork from local and regional area artists on archival paper at affordable price points to expand your art collection!
