Saturday, June 29 - Art All Night Trenton: Re-imagined and Re-born. Art All Night Trenton (AANT) has always been a vibrant and immersive celebration of art, culture, and the community that is Trenton, New Jersey. While the pandemic turned it into a virtual event, this highly-anticipated return to an in-person format brings together artists, performers, and art enthusiasts from all walks of life in the capital region, transforming part of the city into a colorful and lively hub of creativity. With its rich history and diverse artistic landscape, Trenton (and AANT's new home - the Trenton War Memorial Building) provides the perfect backdrop for this weekend-long extravaganza.

Monday, July 1 - Vivid Stage Presents Summer Solos Every Week in July at the Visual Arts Center of NJ. (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos readings every week from July 1-24, 2024 at the Visual Arts Center of NJ at 68 Elm Street in Summit. Performances in the series will take place on the lawn of the Arts Center at 6:30pm. Patrons are invited to bring chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner. The rain and extreme heat location for all performances is the Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ.

Tuesday, June 25 - Black Box Studios presents Distant Cousins and Soulfarm at Debonair Music Hall on June 25th. (TEANECK, NJ) -- Black Box Studios presents Distant Cousins and Soulfarm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall. Doors open at 7:00pm; showtime is 8:00pm. Tickets are $30 in advance and $36 at the door (plus a one drink minimum).

Tuesday, June 25 - New Jersey Symphony to return to Raritan Bay Waterfront Park with Free Concert on June 26th. (SOUTH AMBOY, NJ) -- The Arts Institute of Middlesex County invites County residents and visitors to enjoy the sounds of the New Jersey Symphony against the backdrop of Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy on Wednesday, June 26. The concert takes place from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

Wednesday, June 26 - Prudential Center presents A Day to Remember with The Story So Far and Pain of Truth. (NEWARK, NJ) -- A Day To Remember have announced details of The Least Anticipated Album Tour, which will see them at Prudential Center in Newark on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The tour will feature special guests The Story So Far and Four Year Strong with Pain Of Truth. Doors are at 5:30pm, showtime is 6:30pm.

Thursday, June 27 - Prudential Center presents Matchbox 20 and Andy Grammer as part of North to Shore Festival. (NEWARK, NJ) -- The Prudential Center presents Matchbox 20 and Andy Grammer on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 8:00pm. The concert is part of the North to Shore festival, which takes place in Asbury Park (June 10-16), Atlantic City (June 17-23), and Newark (June 23-30).

Thursday, June 27 - NJPAC Announces Lineup for 2024 Sounds of the City FREE Concerts. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Experience an amazing lineup of diverse artists under the stars this summer at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for exciting, FREE concerts during the Horizon Sounds of the City series every Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The series unites Newark's cultural diversity by bringing together residents, workers, and visitors for unforgettable evenings of great music, food, and fun. This year's lineup includes Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista, Afrobeat singer and artist Kofi Kinaata, New Orleans funk band Galactic f. Jelly Joseph, rap icon KRS-One, and New Orleans bounce singer Big Freedia. Some performances will also showcase a guest poet from Dodge Poetry, as well as local opening talent and NJPAC's student performers.

Friday, June 28 - Ocean Casino Resort presents Lynyrd Skynyrd. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Southern rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd returns to Ocean Casino Resort's Ovation Hall on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 9:00pm. Known for their bluesy riffs with a touch of country twang, hits such as "Tuesday's Gone", "Gimme Three Steps", "Sweet Home Alabama" and jam-frenzied anthem "Free Bird", remain staples of American classic rock.

Friday, June 28 - Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes and Blackberry Smoke Among Acts for 2024 Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival. (AUGUSTA, NJ) -- The music line-up has been announced for the 2024 Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival, a weekend of the best in southern/classic rock bands and finger-licking barbecue and fixin's June 28-30 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Acts include Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Molly Hatchet, Blackberry Smoke, Artimus Pyle, The Outlaws, Larkin Poe, and more.

Friday, June 28 - West Windsor Arts Presents "Telematic Collisions," a Unique Multimedia Experience with Musician and Composer Trevor New. (PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ) -- West Windsor Arts may be best known for its art classes and exhibitions, but the arts center is also host to an increasing number of innovative performances by local and regional artists. Brooklyn-based musician, composer and recording artist Trevor New may be best known as an electro-acoustic violist who has performed throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe, but he is also the creator of "Cohere Touch," a unique technology that unites musicians and audiences from around the world with those in the room with him.

Saturday, June 29 - Prudential Center presents Jhené Aiko and "The Magic Hour Tour". (NEWARK, NJ) -- Six-time GRAMMY nominated R&B sensation Jhené Aiko will bring her headlining tour to the Prudential Center on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 8:00pm. For the first time in five years, Jhené Aiko will share her illustrious pop and R&B sound with Newark. "The Magic Hour Tour" co-stars Coi Leray, Tink, Umi, and Kiana Lede.

Paper Mill Playhouse announces cast and creative for "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical". (MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the full cast and creative team for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, featuring a book by Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award nominee Douglas McGrath and words and music by Gerry Goffin & Carole King and Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. Casey Hushion will helm the production, with choreography by Jennifer Werner and music direction by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett. Beautiful will play June 5 to July 3, 2024 at Paper Mill Playhouse. Two River Theater presents August Wilson's "Gem of the Ocean". (RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater has announced the cast and creative team for August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean, the seventh production in Two River Theater's commitment to stage all ten of Wilson's visionary epics in the American Century Cycle, directed by San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award Winner, Delicia Turner Sonnenberg (Appropriate, Trouble in Mind). The production runs June 8-30, 2024.

Vanguard Theater Company presents 'Pippin'. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater Company presents Pippin from June 13-30, 2024. Immerse yourself in the enchanting tale of Pippin, where fantasy and reality collide in a whirlwind of adventure and intrigue. Follow our enigmatic hero as he seeks purpose and fulfillment in a world full of possibilities and pitfalls.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "Avenue Q". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents Avenue Q for a three-weekend run from June 14-30, 2024. Avenue Q, the 2003 winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book, is part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart, and will be the eighth mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season.

Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey kicks off Outdoor Stage season with the comedy 'As You Like It'. (MADISON, NJ) -- Romance and laughter abound in Shakespeare's delightful comedy As You Like It, which kicks off the summer season at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The beloved play, one of the most popular in Shakespeare's canon, will be presented on the Outdoor Stage at St. Elizabeth University from June 19 - July 14, 2024.

'Uncle Buck' actress Elaine Bromka to Bring 'Tea for Three: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty' to Cape May. (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Three former First Ladies will share some very intimate secrets during East Lynne Theater Company's critically acclaimed production of Tea for Three: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty from June 19 to July 6, 2024.

Scott Ehrenpreis Shares His Inspiring Mental Health Journey in solo show, "Clowns Like Me". (NEW YORK, NY) -- Mental illness is no laughing matter, but in the new solo show Clowns Like Me, audience members are encouraged to laugh, cry and enjoy the ride into the unknown. Clowns Like Me will have its New York Off-Broadway Premiere at the DR2 Theatre this summer. The witty, timely, and inspiring story is based on Sarasota actor and storyteller Scott Ehrenpreis’ true life struggles with mental illness and its stigmas. The play was written by Jason Cannon, who also directs. Previews begin on June 21, for a limited engagement through August 18, 2024. Opening night is slated for Sunday, June 30 at 6:30pm.

Black Box presents a Staged Reading of 'All Over' by Edward Albee. (TEANECK, NJ) -- In association with The Estate of Edward Albee, Black Box presents All Over (1971) on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall. Showtime is 7:30pm. This is part of the company's exclusive staged reading series of all of Albee's plays. As described on the Edward Albee Society website, All Over takes place in a majestic townhouse as a great man lay dying.

The Theater Project presents Kaleidoscope Kabaret, an Annual Festival of Songs and Short Plays. (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- From June 28-30, 2024, The Theater Project presents Kaleidoscope Kabaret, its annual showcase of new work, at Luna Stage. Audiences are invited to see a variety of short plays by members of the company's Playwrights Workshop whose work has been performed in Canada, Great Britain, New York and around the US. This year's event also includes two plays by high school/college playwrights, past honorees of The Theater Project's annual Young Playwrights Competition. The Kabaret includes music performed by guest musicians, including Sandra Toll and David Tillestrand.

The Stage Comes Alive With the Yardley Players and 'The Sound of Music' at Kelsey Theatre. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- One of the most beloved musicals of all time will light up the stage when the Yardley Players present The Sound of Music June 28 to July 7, 2024 at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College (MCCC).

Rising Stars Shine Bright in "Constellations of Resilience" at Playhouse 22 this weekend. (EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The Rising Star Resilience Project, an innovative program by NextGen Acting, is proud to present "Constellations of Resilience," an inspiring and powerful showcase by the students of the Rising Star Resilience Project. Performances will take place at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, June 28-29, 2024 at Playhouse 22.

The Premier Theatre Company presents "Oklahoma!" this weekend. (RUMSON, NJ) -- The Premier Theatre Company will present the classic musical Oklahoma! by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II in Rumson, NJ on June 28, 29 and 30, 2024. Opening night is Friday, June 28. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm.

Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch to Present 'John and Abigail Adams: An American Love Story'. (BARNEGAT, NJ) -- Step back into our nation's earliest days to meet one of its most extraordinary couples. The Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch will present the American Historical Theatre's Peyton Dixon and Kim Hanley in "John and Abigail Adams: An American Love Story" on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00am.

Friday, June 28 - Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena presents Dave Chappelle. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The legendary Dave Chappelle comes to Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena for two shows on Friday, June 28, 2024. Performances take place at 7:00pm and 10:00pm.

Sunday, June 30 - Kevin Smith brings "Jersey Sure" show to NJPAC during North to Shore Festival. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Pork roll, jaded teens, malls, convenience stores, profound conversations about comic books. Jersey legend Kevin Smith showed the world the secrets of life (whether it be in an actual mall, a convenience store, or Red Bank) in his classic films that put the Garden State firmly on the map as a mecca for indie filmmakers. Now get ready to hear from the man himself when he takes center stage again, this time in person, with "Jersey Sure" on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) as part of the North to Shore festival. Showtime is 3:00pm.

Sunday, June 30 - Prudential Center presents Kevin Hart as part of North to Shore Festival. (NEWARK, NJ) -- As part of the North to Shore festival sponsored by Prudential, Kevin Hart, one of the biggest names in comedy, will perform at the Prudential Center on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Showtime is 7:00pm.

Thursday, June 27 - Montclair Film presents the inaugural Montclair Film Summer Showcase. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Montclair Film, New Jersey's leading film non-profit, presents the inaugural Montclair Film Summer Showcase, taking place June 27-30, 2024 at The Clairidge Cinema in Montclair, as part of the Prudential Presents North To Shore Festival. The program will feature the season's leading independent, documentary, and international films prior to their theatrical release. The films join the previously announced Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Paul Giamatti on June 29 at NJPAC in Newark as Montclair Film's signature programs during this year's Prudential Presents North To Shore Festival.

Friday, June 28 - The Audible Showcase Stage Celebrates Newark's Rising Voices During North to Shore Festival. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Rising Newark artists will step into the spotlight over three days at the Audible Showcase Stage, a new feature of the Prudential presents North to Shore Festival, which comes to Newark June 23-30, 2024.

Sunday, June 30 - Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Offers Sundaes on the Veranda. (TRENTON, NJ) -- Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie will serve up its annual Sundaes on the Veranda Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. In addition to all the classic toppings at this family-friendly ice cream social, attendees can choose a unique, artisan-made ceramic bowl to take home. New this year, sundaes are free for children aged 6 and under who are accompanied by a paid adult; $20 for a sundae in a handmade ceramic bow; $10 for a sundae in a disposable bowl.
