Friday, April 18 - Endea Owens' Blend of 'Groove-Based' Music and Jazz Developed from Her Detroit Roots. Bassist Endea Owens' 2023 debut album, Feel Good Music (Bass Bae Music), highlights her skills with tight arrangements, intricate compositions, and syncopated percussive elements that seamlessly interlock. The album's accessible, yet sophisticated, approach has made it a hit among casual listeners and discerning jazz critics.

Tuesday, April 15 - The Used at Starland Ballroom. The Used have announced their nationwide 25th Anniversary Tour creating an unforgettable experience for fans with 3 nights in each city, featuring a full album play through of the music they created that shaped the sound of early 2000s alternative rock. The celebration will highlight their first three albums performed in full: their self-titled record The Used (2002), In Love And Death (2004) and Lies For The Liars (2007).

Wednesday, April 16 - Badfish, Longtime Sublime Tribute Band, Comes to Morristown With Original Music. Badfish is a vibe. Badfish is a sonic house party complete with plenty of gyrating fans sipping libations and enjoying various extracurricular activities. Badfish is feel-good music.

Friday, April 18 - "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live" comes to NJPAC in April. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Due to overwhelming demand following the North American tour announcement, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live, the world-wide smash hit 2.5D musical sensation based on the wildly popular Manga (comic book), will bring their sensational show to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 8:00pm.

Monday, April 21 - Bergen Professor Makes a Musical Call to Urgency on Climate Change for Earth Day. (PARAMUS, NJ) -- Bergen Community College music professor and songwriter/performer Dan Sheehan brings a special presentation of his project The Seas Are Rising: Stories of a Climate in Crisis to Bergen's Paramus campus on Monday, April 21, 2025 as part of the college’s Earth Week celebrations.

United Solo's Spring 2025 Festival. (NEW YORK, NY) -- United Solo's Spring 2025 Festival brings a lineup of dynamic performances from around the world to Theatre Row, running from March 18 through April 20.

Bristol Riverside Theatre presents "In The Heights" by Lin-Manuel Miranda. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The electrifying rhythms of Washington Heights pulse through Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) as Lin-Manuel Miranda's groundbreaking musical, a genre-bending blend of hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and soul, In the Heights, takes the stage March 25 through April 27, 2025. BRT's production is directed by the visionary Carlos Armesto, returning to BRT following his sensory-driven production Odd Man Out in 2023. This season, Armesto brings the beloved hit musical set on the vibrant streets of New York to the stage. BRT co-producers Amy and Ken Kaissar present the first large-scale production since the newly renovated space reopened.

Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents "Godspell". (LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents Godspell, directed by John Bukovec, across three weekends from April 4-19, 2025. This high-energy, uplifting musical promises to captivate audiences with a modern-day celebration of love, community, and joy. Godspell brings the teachings of Jesus to life in a contemporary urban setting through a vibrant blend of music, dance, and storytelling.

Two River Theater presents "¡VOS!". (RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater's season continues with ¡VOS!, a World Premiere debut by the powerful new voice, Christina Pumariega (Joan Dark), directed by Nicole A. Watson (Jocelyn Bioh's School Girls, Artistic Director of Playwrights Center in Minneapolis) is an exhilarating quest for justice, family and home. Performances will run in the Marion Huber Theater April 5-27, 2025.

The United Solo Festival to present NY premiere of "Mother's Day" by Susan Chase. (NEW YORK, NY) -- The United Solo Festival will host the New York premiere of Susan Chase's solo play Mother’s Day on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7:00pm - just before she begins a tour of Pennsylvania and New England, to conclude on Mother's Day, 2025 for an audience of mothers and their children in Mystic, CT. The 90-minute theatrical tour-de-force uses spoken word, music, dance, and film to celebrate the women who made us.

WHATCo to Hold Open Auditions for "The Tempest". (HARRISON, NJ) -- The West Hudson Arts & Theater Company (WHATCo) will hold open in-person auditions for their production of Shakespeare's The Tempest on Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Spanish Pavilion Restaurant, Event Room (downstairs) in Harrison.

NJ Rep presents "Comfort" by Neil LaBute. (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) continues its 28th season with Neil LaBute's Comfort, directed by Evan Bergman. The production runs from April 17 to May 11, 2025, with opening on April 19, 2025, at NJ Rep's intimate theater in Long Branch. The new play follows the complicated, love-hate relationship between a mother and son as they barrel towards the unknown, battling over ownership of a treasured manuscript.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive weekends from April 18 through May 4, 2025. The play by Selina Fillinger is about a derogatory comment, a summit gone awry, an anal abscess - it's a bad day at the White House.

NJPAC to Celebrate Governor Kean's 90th Birthday with Broadway-Themed Bash. (NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will celebrate the birthday of New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean with a dinner and evening of musical theater on his 90th birthday, April 21, 2025. The event begins at 5:30pm.

Saturday, April 19 - NJPAC presents comedian Fern Brady. (NEWARK, NJ) --The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is excited to welcome Scotland's comedy superstar Fern Brady as she stops in Newark on Saturday, April 19, 2025 during her U.S. tour. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, April 19 - AC Ballet to Present Enchanting Performance of 'Cinderella' at Caesars Atlantic City. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The Atlantic City Ballet presents Cinderella as the next stunning performance of its spring season, a spectacular celebration of dance featuring a stunning mix of classical mastery and dynamic collaborations with local arts organizations. Join historian and diver Dan Lieb for "The Tragedy of the Schooner, John K. Shaw" at the Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The event begins at 7:00pm.

Wednesday, April 16 - Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women to Hold Annual Celebration on April 16. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- The Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women will host its annual Woman of Achievement and Young Woman of Achievement Awards event on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Mercer Oaks Clubhouse.

Monmouth Museum hosts "Harmony, Balance & Symmetry". (LINCROFT, NJ) -- Monmouth Museum, Nilson Gallery announces the opening of Harmony, Balance & Symmetry, a kaleidoscopic digital art exhibition featuring the work of north New Jersey, New York and Long Beach Island-based artist Carol Nussbaum. The show will be on display from April 15 to June 1, 2025 at the Nilson Gallery at the Monmouth Museum on the campus of Brookdale Community College.
