(BRICK, NJ) -- Calling all animal lovers! The Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library is collecting donations from now until August 30, 2025 to help support our local furry friends. This collection is in partnership with the Jersey Shore Animal Center.
The branch will be accepting donations of the following items:
* Pet food: Purina Pro Plan Adult/Puppy Dry Dog Food, Iams Adult/Puppy Dry Dog Food, Purina One Dry Cat Chow Complete, Purina One Sensitive Systems Dry Cat Food, Purina Kitten Chow, Friskies/Fancy Feast Canned Cat Food (non-fish flavor)
* Pet supplies: blankets, towels, flat sheets, non-clumping cat litter, cat wands, cat toys (non-catnip), dog toys, cardboard scratching boards
* Cleaning supplies: paper towels, scrub sponges, bleach, high-efficiency laundry detergent, hand soap/sanitizer, dish soap, latex exam gloves (S, M, L, XL)
* Office supplies: white copy paper (new), color copy paper (brights and pink, green, blue, yellow), 13-66 gallon trash bags
Donations can be dropped off during the branch’s operating hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am to 9:00pm; Friday-Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Donations will be sent to Jersey Shore Animal Center.
