Black Box PAC presents Staged Reading of "At Home At The Zoo" by Edward Albee
 

(TEANECK, NJ) -- In association with The Estate of Edward Albee, Black Box PAC presents a staged reading of At Home At The Zoo (1959/2004) on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall. Originally titled Peter & Jerry, At Home At The Zoo combines Albee's classic short play The Zoo Story (1959) with its prequel, Homelife (2004). Together these short plays form a complete story of Peter, a publishing executive; Ann, his wife; and Jerry, a stranger Peter meets in the park. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Arts Council of Princeton partnering with Stibol Music to provide Music Lessons and Programming
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) is partnering with West Windsor-based music studio Stibol Music to provide music lessons and special programming for the Princeton community.

 



George Wesner Live at The Barrymore: Spring into Joy
 

(FORT LEE, NJ) -- George Wesner, the principal organist at Radio City Music Hall, returns to the Barrymore Film Center with a program called "Spring Into Joy" on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 2:30pm. This is a multisensory program in the theme of renewal and rebirth. He will be joined this time by trumpeters Alex Bender (currently in the orchestra for Spamalot on Broadway) and Bryan Uhl (Back to the Future: the Musical).

"Her Music is My High!" Joan Osborne LIVE! at SOPAC
 

The crowd inside South Orange, NJ's SOPAC auditorium cheers this Friday, March 1 2024 evening as singer/songwriter Joan Osborne takes the stage. Osborne, a seven-time Grammy Award nominee known for her work in the areas of pop, soul, R&B, blues, and country music, attended open-mic nights in NYC before ultimately being launched into the spotlight with "One of Us," the breakout single from her 1995 album, Relish.

2024 New Jersey International Film Festival to Take Place May 31st to June 9th
 

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center, in association with the Rutgers University Program in Cinema Studies, presents the 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival which marks their 29th Anniversary. The NJIFF will be taking place on the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between May 31 - June 9, 2024 and will be a hybrid one as they will be presenting it online as well as doing in-person screenings at Rutgers University.

Literature to Life to Hold Gala Events in New York City and Washington, DC
 

Literature to Life (LTL) will host spring gala events in both New York City and Washington, D.C., featuring live performances, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and more. The proceeds from both events will benefit the organization's extensive work in schools and help Literature to Life expand educational opportunities for NYC- and D.C.-area students. The New York City event will take place on Monday, April 15 at Scandinavia House, and the Washington, D.C. event will take place on Monday, May 6 at the Edlavitch Jewish Community Center.
