(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College invites prospective students and their families to join them for their Spring Open House on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The event will start at the Collins Arena near parking lot #6 on the campus map.
The Spring Open House offers an exciting opportunity for visitors to discover the diverse array of academic programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and student resources available at Brookdale Community College. Attendees will have the chance to:
* Tour the New Cybersecurity Center:Â Explore our cutting-edge Cybersecurity Center, equipped with the latest technology and resources to prepare students for careers in this rapidly evolving field.
* Sample Culinary Arts Cooking:Â Experience the creativity and culinary treats from their Culinary and Hospitality program.
* Learn About the Honors Program:Â Discover the benefits and opportunities available through their Honors Program, designed to challenge and engage high-achieving students.
* Explore Transfer Pathways and Career Opportunities:Â Connect with representatives from their University Partners to learn about transfer opportunities and explore career pathways.
* Discover Continuing Education Programs: Explore their Center for Career Development and learn about professional development opportunities, adult education courses, and lifelong learning programs.
* Experience the New Multimedia Production Option:Â Get a glimpse of their latest academic offering in multimedia studies, designed to prepare students for digital media and communication careers.
The Spring Open House will kick off at 1:00pm with a welcome address at the Collins Arena. Guests are encouraged to arrive at noon for check-in and registration.

Washington Crossing Historic Park Launches Community-Wide Call to Support Expanded Independence Day Celebration in America's 250th Anniversary Year
(WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA) -- Washington Crossing Historic Park (WCHP) in Pennsylvania plans to host an expanded Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 4:00pm to 9:30pm featuring immersive living history experiences, family-friendly activities, live music, and the return of fireworks over the Delaware River. Designed as a community-wide celebration of America250, the event is intended to create a meaningful space for residents and visitors to commemorate this historic milestone year. Please note: Admission is required; registration is recommended only for the 4:00pm ‐ 8:00pm Living History Program. The evening concert and fireworks are free and open to the public; no registration is required to attend those portions of the event.
Passage Theatre Company presents 3rd Annual Word on Front festival
