(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- On Friday, January 11 at 8:30pm, The Porchistas are hosting a farewell show for their drummer Jonathan Riordan at The Porchistas Home Studio in Montclair. The night will include performances by The You and Eyes, The Good Kind , and The Porchistas. There will be a keg and snacks. $5 suggested donation at the door. Bring a reusable cup, mug, or jar.
According to the band, "Jonny is taking an intensive 6 month course with AEIRE Wilderness First Responder School in Mastatal, Costa Rica then Missoula, Montana. After that he will probably find a job in a national park somewhere far away from New Jersey with clean air and bad pizza. Jon has been more than a magnificent and reliable drummer for our band. He has also been our sound tech, stage manager and Sucia's behind the scene event assistant for all of the shows we put together in our community. He will be dearly missed."
