State Theatre Presents Superheroes and Villains Online Trivia Night on June 9

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Attention superhero fans, are your spidey-senses tingling, because this Trivia Night is for you! Marvel or DC, it doesn't matter here, because your knowledge of both worlds will be tested when State Theatre New Jersey Hosts Superheroes & Villains Online Trivia Night on Wednesday, June 9 at 7:00pm via ZOOM. Proceeds support State Theatre’s Community Engagement programs. Admission is a minimum donation of $5 or more.

Superheroes & Villains Trivia will cover movies, comics, heroes and villains history, secret identities, famous lines, actors and actresses, and we "could do this all day." Assemble your friends and family because it's time to leap into action and join in the trivia fun!

After 50 questions, the first-place winner gets bragging rights, a $150 State Theatre gift certificate, and a State Theatre swag bag. The second-place winner gets a State Theatre swag bag. 

Your participation is a donation to State Theatre New Jersey’s Community Engagement programs. Donate What You Can—a minimum donation of $5 allows you to participate, larger donation amounts are greatly appreciated! Click here to make a donation.

Online Trivia Night will be hosted on Zoom on your desktop computer and played on a smartphone-based trivia game called Kahoot. An email with login information will follow your donation to enter. One player per entry.

State Theatre New Jersey is located at 15 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  It continues to flourish as the centerpiece and premier venue for the New Brunswick arts community. State Theatre presents a diverse roster of entertainment, including international orchestras, Broadway, comedy, dance, pop, rock, family events, and more. The theater is the state’s second largest non-profit presenting hall, which contributes commensurately to New Jersey's $45 million performing-arts tourism industry, annually attracting more than 200,000 patrons.

In addition, some 30,000 students and teachers annually attend its school performances and participate in its in-school, robust education programs, including the Artist-in-Residence program, Family Day, Milk & Cookies Series, Sensory-Friendly Performances, and other outreach activities. The roster of mainstage performers that have graced the State Theatre’s stage have included Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Kevin Hart, Ringo Starr, Melissa Etheridge, John Leguizamo, Harry Connick, Jr., Diana Krall, and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
