(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players, Freehold’s award-winning community theater, will present a play reading of The Patient, an original mystery/thriller at Center Playhouse, 35 South St, in downtown Freehold, NJ, on Friday, September 8th at 7:30pm.
The one-act play was written by Ryan Kaminski, who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in playwriting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. It will be directed by John Correll Jr., a local director and actor who has worked at many community theaters in Monmouth and Middlesex counties. This event will mark the first time both men have been involved with Center Players.
The Book in Hand play reading series allows audiences to be exposed to plays in an informal setting while also allowing writers to experience audience reaction to their work. A question and answer and talk back session will follow the reading. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is requested. More information is available online at www.centerplayers.org or by calling 732-462-9093.
