"We are quite excited to be celebrating our Sweet 16th birthday with our strong and loyal following throughout Central New Jersey," said Mark Spina, Founding Artistic Director of The Theater Project, "and we look forward to continuing our commitment to bring our intimate brand of quality award-winning live theater to our audiences. We have a come long way since 1994, and thanks to the support of the community, we will continue to deliver provocative and topical productions otherwise unavailable to local theatre-goers."
Cafe Beethoven's scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be featured at the party. A variety of complimentary adult beverages will also be available. Door prizes from generous sponsors will be awarded throughout the event. More information is available at thetheaterproject.org.
The Theater Project is committed to producing new works and contemporary classics for the stage. An award-winning Associate Member of the New Jersey Theater Alliance, The Theater Project is recognized for its color-blind casting policy and provocative "actor's view of theater" seating where the audience literally sits on-stage with the actors where the action is. The Theater Project has recently received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the New Jersey State Council for the Arts, and the Union County Board of Chosen
Freeholders.
