(CINNAMINSON, NJ) -- Burlington County Footlighters concludes its 74th season with an irreverent look at life in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, running May 4 - 19, 2012. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm; and Sundays at 2 pm at The Playhouse, 808 Pomona Road in Cinnaminson, NJ.
With music and lyrics by David Nehls and a book by Betsy Kelso, this big-hearted, sharp and quirky musical comedy is all about what happens when a new tenant at Armadillo Acres -- an exotic dancer on the run -- wreaks havoc throughout Florida's most "exclusive" trailer park as she comes between a Dr. Phil--loving agoraphobic and her tollbooth collector husband. Please be aware that this show contains strong adult themes and language.
Directed by Sean Flaherty of Perkasie, PA, working with choreographer Sarah Dugan and musical director Ryan Wyrofsky, both of Moorestown, the production features Jennifer Fischer of Hamilton as Lin, Zoi Gianneas of Philadelphia as Betty, Danielle Harley of Lindenwold as Pippi, Robynn Hecht of Mays Landing as Pickles, Michael Melvin of Maple Shade as Norbert, Jillian Starr-Renbjor of Maple Shade as Jeannie and Wyrofsky as Duke.
Tickets are $18. For reservations or additional information, call 856-829-7144 or visit www.bcfootlighters.com.
Funding has been made possible in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, from a grant to the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Department of Resource Conservation, Division of Cultural Affairs & Tourism.
