Literary "monsters" have always been intriguing. They explore the darker aspects of human nature, challenging us to confront uncomfortable truths about morality, power, and identity. King Lear, Medea, and Doctor Faustus are not conventional villains in the sense of pure malevolence, but they each contain morally complex elements that push them into "villainous" territory through destructive choices.
Join us virtually as we explore the most iconic monsters in classic literature! The book club will meet every Tuesday evening from October 21st to November 25th, 7:00 - 9:30 PM.
