(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- This May, White Eagle Hall will celebrate their five year anniversary. Originally constructed in 1910 and reopened in 2017 after a multi-year, multi-million-dollar renovation, the 800-person capacity music venue in Jersey City first show was Jersey City legends Rye Coalition on May 5, 2017.

Since then, the venue has hosted a variety of notable artists over the last five years including Mitski, Kamasi Washington, Japanese Breakfast, PJ Morton, The Bouncing Souls, Parquet Courts, Yo La Tengo, The Mountain Goats, Screaming Females, Spoon, Waxahatchee, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Guster, New Found Glory, and many more. White Eagle Hall has presented numerous sold out shows, community events, theater productions, private events, and much more.

“As we celebrate this five-year anniversary milestone, our team could not be happier with the success of this prestigious venue,” said Sean Saadeh, Executive Vice President of Entertainment for Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment. “We look forward to maintaining this level of success with increased event bookings, private celebrations, and a continued diversification of programming.”

“The Jersey City landmark remains a hub of entertainment for all of New Jersey’s fans and patrons and that has been truly inspiring,” Saadeh added. “We cannot wait to bring additional entertainment to the Jersey City community, while we continue to make it a destination for artists, performers, partners, and guests for years to come.”

During their anniversary month of May, White Eagle Hall currently has five sold out shows scheduled, including Gogol Bordello, Built to Spill, and three nights of New Jersey favorites The Front Bottoms. Another highlight during the month is Railroad Earth’s show on May 26th — the celebrated quintet formed in Stillwater, New Jersey in 2001 comes to the venue for the very first time. Rounding out the month of May shows include; The Slackers, The Dead Milkmen, The Lemon Twigs, Vagabon, Tech N9ne, and Les Savy Fav.
