originally published: 03/11/2025

(WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- United Children's Music Project (UCMP) has announced Latin Night Thursdays, a new monthly celebration of live Latin music and culture! Join them for three Spring evenings of high-energy performances and an immersive experience in the rhythms of Latin America.

Latin Night Thursdays take place on the last Thursday of every month at the United Children's Music Project (UCMP), located at 4710 Park Avenue in Weehawken, New Jersey. Shows runs from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. Admission is a $15 donation at the door.

Latin Night Thursdays is an exciting new initiative by UCMP, bringing together world-class musicians and community members in a dynamic celebration of Latin music and culture. Whether you're an avid music lover, a dancer, or simply looking for an exciting night out, these events promise to be an unforgettable experience!

Why This Matters: “This event is not only about celebrating the rich musical heritage of Latin America, but also about supporting UCMP’s incredible teaching artists and ensuring that music education remains accessible to our students,” said Melina Garcia, UCMP’s Founder and Executive Director. “The community’s participation and support of Latin Night Thursdays directly impact the future of our programs and the talented musicians we serve.”

Supporting a Great Cause: All proceeds from Latin Night Thursdays will benefit UCMP, helping them continue their mission of providing high-quality, low-cost after school music education and cultural experiences to children and youth in the Hudson County communities.
