Here is a look at upcoming shows taking place from June 11-18, 2024 along with our featured listings. New Jersey Stage offers previews of concerts throughout the Garden State as well as select shows in New York City and Philadelphia areas. Click on the title to go to the full preview. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Wang Chung, The Motels, and Naked Eyes have joined forces to create a musical extravaganza that transports audiences to the heart of the neon-soaked, synth-driven decade with the Abducted by the '80s Tour, coming to Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 7:30pm.

Saturday, June 15 - Don’t miss Marissa Nadler in Concert at the 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival on Saturday, June 15. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Over the course of nearly 20 tireless years of writing, recording, and touring, Marissa Nadler has amassed one of the most singular catalogs in contemporary music. Her work glides between delicate folk, windswept Americana, doom metal-adjacent darkness, meditative ambient music, and fearlessly experimental sounds, all anchored in her unmistakable singing voice and finger-style guitar. You can catch her live in concert at the New Jersey International Film Festival on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Saturday, June 15 - Cirque du Soliel's Sandy Cameron to join NJ Festival Orchestra for Outdoor Season Finale in Westfield on June 15th. (WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The New Jersey Festival Orchestra is back outdoors in Westfield on Saturday, June 15, 2024 for a season finale starring virtuoso violinist Sandy Cameron performing Prokofievs's renowned Violin Concerto No. 2. The concert will also feature music by Beethoven and Stravinsky, a performance made possible in part through sponsorship by Ray Catena of Mercedes-Benz, Union.

Saturday, June 15 - bergenPAC presents Almost Queen on Saturday. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The most authentic Queen tribute show since the days of Queen themselves, Almost Queen, will rock the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 8:00pm. The Steve Leonard Trio will open the show.

Wednesday, June 12 - The Newton Theatre presents Eli Young Band. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents Eli Young Band on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 8:00pm. Since the band's formation as college classmates 20 years ago, the Associated Press has celebrated EYB as "a smart, relevant antidote" to overdone clichés in Country music.

Wednesday, June 12 - Stone Pony Summer Stage presents Gary Clark Jr. as Part of North to Shore Music Festival. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The North to Shore Music Festival, presented by Prudential, presents Gary Clark Jr., who will rock the legendary Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 6:30pm. Gates are open at 5:00pm.

Wednesday, June 12 - Flying V Productions presents ElephantProof with Turtle Logic at The Homestead Bar & Kitchen. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Flying V Productions presents ElephantProof with Turtle Logic at The Homestead Bar & Kitchen on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. A tight-knit quartet comprised of some of Boston's finest musicians, ElephantProof stands as an enchanting embodiment of dynamic and eclectic sonic energy. Doors open at 7:00pm.

Thursday, June 13 - K-Pop Stars ITZY to Perform at Prudential Center. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Critically-acclaimed K-Pop powerhouses ITZY return to the global stage for ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR , a show stopping run of electrifying performances across 18 countries this spring and summer with a stop at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on Sunday, June 13, 2024.

Thursday, June 13 - North to Shore Festival Brings Band of Horses and Lake Street Dive to Stone Pony Summer Stage. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The North to Shore Music Festival, a one-of-a-kind event presented by Prudential, has two great shows at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. First is Band of Horses with Sunshine Spazz opening the night on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 6:30pm and then Lake Street Dive headlines the Summer Stage on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 6:30pm.

Thursday, June 13 - Classical, Baroque, and Cross-Over Music Can Be Heard at Princeton Festival Chamber Concerts this June. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Chamber music abounds at the June 2024 Princeton Festival with music to suit a variety of tastes performed by the Abeo Quartet and The Sebastians at Trinity Church, and Empire Wild in the Festival’s performance pavilion at Morven Museum & Garden.

Friday, June 14 - 2nd Week of Princeton Festival includes Mozart's comic masterpiece and American Repertory Ballet performance with PSO Strings. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The second week of this year’s Princeton Festival kicks off with performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's comic masterpiece Così fan tutte on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 7:00pm and Sunday, June 16 at 4:00pm, with a final 7:00pm performance on Tuesday, June 18. In between, on Saturday, June 15 at 7:00pm, is an evening of music and dance, Interwoven: American Repertory Ballet + PSO Strings. Both events take place in the performance pavilion on the grounds of Morven Museum & Garden.

Friday, June 14 - Lake Street Dive to Kick Off Tour at Stone Pony Summer Stage June 14th. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Acclaimed band Lake Street Dive will kick off their Good Together Tour on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Stone Pony Summer Stage. The band's new album, Good Together, is set for release on June 21st and marks the group's debut for Fantasy Records.

Friday, June 14 - Juneteenth: A Celebration of Liberation - A Night of Music, Dance, Poetry & More in Rahway. (RAHWAY, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG), in partnership with the New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC) and Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC), will present Juneteenth: A Celebration of Liberation at Hamilton Stage (360 Hamilton Street) in Rahway, NJ, on June 14, 2024 at 7:30pm.

Saturday, June 15 - Guitarfest, a Free Celebration of Classical Guitar, to Be Held at Kean University on Saturday. (UNION, NJ) -- Kean University will celebrate classical guitar in all its splendor at the third annual Guitarfest on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Enlow Recital Hall in Hillside. The free music festival is open to the public and includes two back-to-back concerts.

Sunday, June 16 - Jarod Clemons and the Late Nights to Pay Tribute to Clarence Clemons at Wonder Bar. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The North to Shore Music Festival, presented by Prudential, presents Jarod Clemons and the Late Nights, will pay tribute to Jarod's father, the late Clarence Clemons, the longtime saxophonist in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. This special performance will take place on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Wonder Bar. Showtime is 7:00pm.

NJPAC Announces Lineup for 2024 Sounds of the City FREE Concerts

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Experience an amazing lineup of diverse artists under the stars this summer at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for exciting, FREE concerts during the Horizon Sounds of the City series every Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The series unites Newark's cultural diversity by bringing together residents, workers, and visitors for unforgettable evenings of great music, food, and fun. This year's lineup includes Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista, Afrobeat singer and artist Kofi Kinaata, New Orleans funk band Galactic f. Jelly Joseph, rap icon KRS-One, and New Orleans bounce singer Big Freedia. Some performances will also showcase a guest poet from Dodge Poetry, as well as local opening talent and NJPAC's student performers.
