Monday, July 22 - Shea Center for Performing Arts presents The Kelly Green Seems Quartet. (WAYNE, NJ) -- New York City based pianist, vocalist, composer, and educator Kelly Green brings her heartfelt, luminous, and swinging music to the stage at Shea Center for Performing Arts with her Seems Quartet on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 7:30pm. The quartet is named after the latest release of her working group of Evan Hyde, Luca Soul Rosenfeld, and Elijah J. Thomas.

Tuesday, July 23 - Shea Center for Performing Arts presents Benny Benack with the Big Beat Big Band. (WAYNE, NJ) -- Shea Center for Performing Arts presents Benny Benack with the Big Beat Big Band on July 23, 2024 at 7:30pm. The well-known singer and trumpeter Benny Benack III will team up with a wonderful big band, Big Beat.

Thursday, July 18 - Great South Bay Music Festival Returns July 18-21. (PATCHOGUE, NY) -- The Great South Bay Music Festival is thrilled to announce that they are back and bigger than ever, as the four-day music and arts festival presented by Voodoo Ranger will return to the newly revamped and picturesque waterfront at Shorefront Park in Patchogue Village from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21, 2024. The iconic festival is known for presenting a diverse variety of musical acts over the course of four days, with an eclectic lineup of headline artists performing alongside cutting-edge rising stars that you do not want to miss. This year, the festival will go back to its roots with a bit more "roots and classic rock."

Thursday, July 18 - Horizon Sounds of the City presents Kofi Kinaata at NJPAC's Chambers Plaza. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Don't miss out on the upcoming Horizon Sounds of the City FREE performance at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), featuring Kofi Kinaata, a Ghanaian singer-songwriter and rapper. The concert will take place at Chambers Plaza on the NJPAC Campus on Thursday, July 18, 2024, starting at 5:00pm.

Friday, July 19 - Foo Fighters' 2024 U.S. Stadium Tour. (NEW YORK, NY) -- With their universally acclaimed 11th album But Here We Are stacking up Best of 2023 So Far accolades and singles "Rescued" and "Under You" cementing the band's tally of more #1s than any other artist at Rock and Alternative Radio, Foo Fighters have confirmed a massive run of summer 2024 U.S. Stadium dates. The newly announced leg of the Everything or Nothing at All Tour will kick off with the band's return to New York's Citi Field for the first time since 2015 for a July 17 and 19 doubleheader and will see Foo Fighters host 12 rock 'n' roll marathons at 10 stadiums, including a pair of shows August 9 and 11 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Friday, July 19 - Paper Mill Playhouse Announces Summer Nights at the F.M. Kirby Carriage House. (MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has announced a full summer of programming at the F.M. Kirby Carriage House as part of Carriage House Presents: Summer Nights. Broadway stars Karen Mason and Nicholas Rodriguez will headline Front Row Center, a new Broadway cabaret series in an intimate setting, with one additional star to be announced. Karen Mason will perform on Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th at 7:30pm. Nicholas Rodriguez will perform on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th at 7:30pm.

Friday, July 19 - Strand Center for the Arts presents "Ticket to the Moon" - ELO Tribute. (LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- "Ticket to the Moon" is a spectacular multimedia tribute show dedicated to the music and legacy of the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). Known for their innovative blend of rock, pop, and classical elements, ELO achieved significant success in the 1970s and 1980s with their unique sound and memorable hits. "Ticket to the Moon" comes to the Strand Center for the Arts on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 8:00pm.

Friday, July 19 - Wellmont Theater Presents: The Cream of Clapton Band. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- On Friday, July 19, 2024, the Wellmont Theater presents The Cream of Clapton Band. Endorsed by the man himself, family, friends and band mates celebrate Eric’s record breaking '24 Nights' at The Royal Albert Hall in 1991. Joining the band on drums in 2024 is legendary drummer, Steve Ferrone (Eric Clapton / Tom Petty) along with very special guest Nathan East (Eric Clapton / Phil Collins). Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, July 20 - The Newton Theatre presents Magical Mystery Doors. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents Magical Mystery Doors on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 8:00pm. They are a tribute act that blends and layers the music of three legendary bands (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors) to create something new and unique for music fans everywhere.

Saturday, July 20 - Bread & Roses Film Festival Hosts Music Fundraising Event. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The film and music community are coming together in downtown Asbury Park on Saturday, July 20, 2024 for a special event featuring several local musicians performing a fundraising show for Bread & Roses, Jersey Shore's only female-centric film festival.

Sunday, July 21 - Asbury Lanes presents Joe Samba with Ballyhoo! and Bumpin Uglies. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Rising reggae rock singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Joe Samba – who recently released the summer anthem "Little Love" – is bringing the grooves and his energetic live show to various cities this summer including Asbury Park on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Asbury Lanes with Ballyhoo! and Bumpin Uglies.

Sunday, July 21 - Jersey City Theater Center presents World Music: Unity Festival. (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Join Jersey City Theater Center on Sunday, July 21, 2024 for an unforgettable evening at the Jersey City World Music: Unity Festival, where the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Indonesia, Cuba, the Philippines, and the USA come alive. This multicultural celebration combines these four nations' diverse sounds and rich traditions, offering a unique opportunity to experience the world through music. The event begins at 5:00pm.

Tuesday, July 23 - Styx, Foreigner, and John Waite to Play Shows in Holmdel and Camden. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Ten years is a long enough wait for two powerhouse and legendary classic rockers to hit the road together again! Styx and Foreigner who continue with the next leg of their two-year Farewell Tour team up this summer for the "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes" co-headlining trek, produced by Live Nation. Legendary British rocker, John Waite, will bring his #1 songs, "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile" to the party, rounding out a great night of hits. The tour comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 and to the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey Holiday Pops Concert Features Broadway Star Rachel Potter

(VOORHEES, NJ) -- The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey will be joined in its annual Holiday Pops concerts by celebrated Broadway star Rachel Potter on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Republic Bank Performing Arts Center in Sewell, NJ, and Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ. The orchestra will play under the baton of PSNJ Conductor Laureate Matthew Oberstein. Showtime for both concerts is 3:00pm.

Community Chorale Brings Together Kean Students, Alumni and Local Residents

When Director of Choral and Vocal Activities Rachel Carlson began her journey at Kean University four years ago, she envisioned creating stronger connections between the University and the surrounding community. That vision came to life in Spring 2022 with the launch of the Kean Community Chorale, an ensemble that unites students, alumni, faculty, staff and local residents in a shared celebration of music.
