(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Be5D is a band that presents cosmic dance music inspired by the Grateful Dead's exploratory improvisational approach. On May 22, 2026, BE5D performed at Asbury Lanes and photographer Chris Paul was on hand to take photos.
The band evolves from jam band legend Mark Diomede's work with Solar Circus and Juggling Suns Projects, together reaching intergenerational audiences around the world for over four decades.
Be5D offers a live music experience that accesses the higher vibrational realm known as the fifth dimension - a state of elevated consciousness where boundless creativity and connectedness flows.
After seeing his first Grateful Dead concert in 1973, Mark decided at age 15 to dedicate his life to sharing the joy and energy of music making. He is most known for his inspired and star-soaring lead guitar playing.
Starting as an improvisational rock and roller in the Central New Jersey area, by the late 80’s Mark was signed by Relix Records with the band, Solar Circus. He began focusing on song writing and bringing his original music to audiences across the country.
Solar Circus transitioned into a new band, Juggling Suns, managed by Jon Zazula of Megaforce Entertainment, Juggling Suns toured the United States, Japan, and had an appearance in the movie, Runaway Bride.
Long-time loyal fans and brand new audiences alike recognize the unique 5D element the band brings through its adventuristic expressions of the vast catalog of Grateful Dead music, rock classics, and dreamlike original compositions.
