Outpost in The Burbs Reschedules Light of Day WinterFest Show

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Outpost in the Burbs has rescheduled Light of Day WinterFest 2022 which was postponed earlier in January and has cancelled the February 12th show with Jonathan Richman and Tommy Larkins.

Light of Day WinterFest 2022, North Jersey "Songwriters in the Round" has been rescheduled for March 4th at 8:00pm. Tickets for the previously scheduled January 7th show will be honored on this new date. The lineup for this show will include Glen Burtnik and Bob Burger of The Weeklings, James Maddock, Grammy nominee Guy Davis, “Blue Americana” (Glenn Alexander of Southside Johnny and Oria Aspen), host Joe D'Urso, and an additional artist TBA. This concert will take place at the First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey.

The February 12th show with Jonathan Richman and Tommy Larkins on drums has been cancelled. Refunds for all tickets purchased via TicketLeap will be automatically processed. For refunds for tickets bought at Watchung Booksellers, please send an email to info@outpostintheburbs.org.

Outpost in the Burbs is a nonprofit, outreach organization dedicated to building community through music, public service and cultural programs.  Since its inception in 1987, the Outpost has produced more than 500 concerts by internationally known folk artists—Judy Collins, Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, Richie Havens, J.D. Souther, Dar Williams—and more than 50,000 people have attended. Outpost volunteers have donated more than 35,000 hours of their time through our programs affiliated with Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair, MESH, Community Food Bank of N.J., Dress for Success and the soup kitchen staffed by Outpost volunteers at Christ Episcopal Church in East Orange that feeds some 75 people twice a month.

Bruce Springsteen Archives presents "Music America: Iconic Objects from America's Music History" at LBJ Presidential Library

(AUSTIN, TX) - Since the nation's inception nearly two and a half centuries ago, music has informed, interpreted, and inspired our national identity. To celebrate and explore this remarkable heritage, the LBJ Presidential Library and the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music at Monmouth University announce the premiere of the exhibition Music America: Iconic Objects from America's Music History. Opening at the LBJ Presidential Library on Saturday, February 17, during Presidents' Day weekend, the exhibition will be on display through August 11, 2024.
