Published by New Jersey Stage

originally published: 11/04/2026

(NUTLEY, NJ) -- CherryBlossomPlayers:LLC presents Edgar Allan Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher from November 12-14, 2026 at Philhower Chapel at Vincent United Methodist Church in Nutley. This is an exciting new original adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic tale.

There is a sickness in the walls of this house... and madness running through it! Witness the descent as the CherryBlossomPlayers (CBP) bring Edgar Allan Poe's chilling masterpiece to life in our intimate black-box style theater, inside of a chapel, staged partly in front of actual stained glass ("those vacant eyes of the windows of Usher House!")

This premiere original adaptation, by husband-&-wife team of Ricky & Emily Franco, plunges audiences into the dark psychological horrors lurking beneath the surface of Poe's classic tale. As reality begins to crumble, you are led into obsession, terror, and madness!

Secure your tickets now, before the house falls. Performances take place at 8:00pm each night. Tickets are $15 and may be reserved in advance; pay at the door. Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or checks accepted. Send an email to [email protected] or call (201) 514-0626 to reserve tickets. Philhower Chapel at Vincent UMC is located at 100 Vincent Place in Nutley, New Jersey.  Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The production is directed by Ricky Franco and stars Adrian Torres (The Narrator) and Tess Nunan (Madeline User).
