Middlesex County's popular photo contest, Picture Middlesex County, is back for the fall season, inviting residents to showcase life and nature across Middlesex County through photography and videography. Submissions will be accepted until Thursday, November 19, 2026. The winning photos and videos, selected by a panel of judges, will be publicly displayed at future County events and featured in marketing materials.
"As we welcome the fall season, the Picture Middlesex County contest gives residents an opportunity to capture and share what makes this time of year so special across our County — from the vibrant colors of our parks and open spaces to the traditions and community moments that bring people together," said Middlesex County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios. "It is always exciting to see the County through the eyes of our residents and discover the places, people, and experiences that make this community special. I encourage everyone to get out, take a photo or video, and show us what fall looks like in Middlesex County."
Who Can Enter: The contest is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages, from youth to adults. Participants aged 17 and under require a parent or guardian's consent on the entry form.
How to Participate: Photos and videos must be taken within Middlesex County, New Jersey, during the contest timeframe. Each participant may submit up to two photos or videos (each 30 seconds or less) per category from September 10 through November 19, 2026.
After the contest ends, all eligible entries will be added to a new album on the Middlesex County Facebook page. An anonymous judging committee will evaluate the submissions and select the winning entries, which will be announced on the Middlesex County Facebook, Instagram, and X pages and on the official Picture Middlesex County landing page.
