Roxey Ballet's "Dracula's Lair" returns to New Hope for Halloween

(NEW HOPE, PA) -- This Halloween season, Roxey Ballet Company presents Dracula's Lair: Immortal, an unforgettable immersive experience that blends haunted attraction, live theatrical storytelling, and breathtaking professional dance into one haunting journey. Tours take place October 23, 24, 30 & 31 at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, and 8:30pm from the Mill Ballet School.

Your adventure begins with a guided walk through the cursed halls of Dracula's domain. Wander past flickering candlelight, eerie corridors, and shadowed chambers as mysterious figures emerge from the darkness. Along the way, encounter professional dancers bringing the legend of Dracula to life through mesmerizing movement, while discovering authentic vampire relics and artifacts presented in partnership with the VAMPA Museum.

Step into the Grand Chamber for a powerful live dance-theater performance where the timeless tale of Dracula unfolds. Passion, temptation, betrayal, and immortality collide in a gothic spectacle featuring cinematic choreography, haunting visuals, and an unforgettable score.

"Good evening. I have waited, as I always wait, for the nights to lengthen and the leaves to fall. At last it is time. For four nights only this October, I shall welcome guests into my lair.

"Roxey Ballet, a company whose dancers I find most agreeable company, has once again been permitted to stage my story within my walls. Last autumn the mortals came in numbers that pleased me greatly, and the newspapers of New Jersey and Bucks County wrote of it at length. This year I have ordered the candles to burn lower.

"You will not merely watch. You will be led, in small parties, through the chambers of my house, where the tale of my long life, and of the unfortunate Miss Lucy, is danced before your eyes by Roxey Ballet’s professional artists. They move as the night moves: silently, beautifully, and far too close.

"Among my possessions you will find genuine relics from the VAMPA Paranormal Museum. I would advise you not to touch them. I would advise, even more strongly, that you do not let them touch you.

“I urge you to secure your passage early,” the Count adds. “The parties are small, the nights are few, and I am told the 31st is in particularly high demand. I cannot imagine why.”

Founded by Mark Roxey and now in its 31st season, Roxey Ballet is a nonprofit professional dance company based in Frenchtown, New Jersey, with performances and programs at its resident home, Mill Ballet School in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The company presents contemporary and classical ballet, new choreography, family productions and immersive dance experiences, including the annual River Dance Festival, Dracula’s Lair, which debuted in 2025, and its annual production of The Nutcracker.
