(NEW HOPE, PA) -- The 97th Annual Juried Art Show at Phillips' Mill, presented September 26 through November 1, 2026, is inviting visitors to make the exhibition part of a fall getaway through new partnerships with area inns and hotels.
Guests who stay one night or more at participating properties will receive complimentary admission to the five-week exhibition, which brings together original works by artists from throughout the region in the historic Phillips' Mill, a site closely associated with the Pennsylvania Impressionists.
The participating properties include Ghost Light Inn in New Hope, Black Bass Hotel in Lumberville and Carversville Inn in Carversville. Additional hospitality partners will be announced.
"For nearly a century, Phillips' Mill has brought artists and art lovers together in the place where so much of the Bucks County arts tradition began," said Jane Ford-Hutchinson, president of the Phillips' Mill Community Association. "Through these hospitality partnerships, visitors can make the Annual Juried Art Show the centerpiece of a fall getaway while discovering the artists, communities and landscapes that continue to make this region such a distinctive cultural destination."
First presented in 1929, the Annual Juried Art Show is one of the region's longest-running juried exhibitions and a longstanding fall tradition. The 2026 exhibition will feature original work by artists from across the region, displayed throughout the historic Mill. Artwork will be available for purchase, supporting participating artists and the regional arts community while helping preserve Phillips' Mill and its historic role in the area's cultural life.
Located just outside the center of New Hope, Phillips' Mill is within easy reach of the town's galleries, independent shops, restaurants, historic architecture and live entertainment. The Delaware Canal towpath provides another opportunity to experience the landscape that has inspired generations of artists. In 2024, Travel + Leisure named New Hope the Best Small Arts + Culture Town in the United States.

Visitors can easily extend their trip beyond New Hope. Just across the Delaware River, Lambertville, New Jersey, offers galleries, antiques, restaurants and independent shops. Traveling north along the river leads to historic Lumberville and, farther on, Frenchtown. In Doylestown, visitors can explore the Michener Art Museum, Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, while Washington Crossing Historic Park combines American history, fall scenery and views of the Delaware River.
The result is an opportunity to experience the Annual Juried Art Show not simply as a single museum or gallery visit, but as part of a broader fall arts and cultural itinerary through one of the region's most distinctive landscapes.
