(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre presents Deceived from October 7-11, 2026. Based on the original play, Gaslight, by Patrick Hamilton, Deceived is a psychological thriller that will leave audiences on the edge of their seat.
A suspense-filled storyline, Deceived, delves into the depths of manipulation, deception, and paranoia as it delivers a chilling outcome that you won’t soon forget.
Bella Manningham thinks she’s losing her mind. In the evenings, she hears strange sounds and the gaslights dim for no apparent reason. But is she losing her grip on reason, or is it being loosened for her? Will the gaslight have its intended , murderous effect?
Performances take place Wednesday, October 7 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm; Thursday, October 8 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm; Friday, October 9 at 7:30pm; Saturday, October 10 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, October 11 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theatre is located at 201 Engleside Avenue in Beach Haven, New Jersey.
