Middlesex County's Plays-in-the-Park presents "Guys and Dolls"

(EDISON, NJ) -- Middlesex County's Plays-in-the-Park presents Guys and Dolls from July 29-August 8, 2026 with performances at 8:00pm. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. The production is directed by Matt Muccigrossi.

Travel to the colorful streets of New York City as gambler Nathan Detroit schemes to organize the biggest craps game in town while trying to keep his long-suffering fiancée, Adelaide, happy after a 14-year engagement. When fellow gambler Sky Masterson enters the picture, an unexpected romance with missionary Sarah Brown leads to adventures from Times Square to Havana and beyond.

Featuring unforgettable characters, classic songs, and plenty of heart, 'Guys and Dolls' is a timeless musical comedy about taking chances on love and finding where you truly belong. Don’t miss this Broadway favorite!

Tickets: $8 for adults; $5 for seniors; Children 12 and under are free. There are no performances on Sundays. Tickets are sold on the day of the performance only. No advance sales. The Box Office opens at 5:30pm and patrons are admitted to the seating area immediately after purchasing tickets. All shows start at 8:00pm. The box office closes at 8:30pm each show night. Audience members must provide their own seating.

Plays-in-the-Park is located in Roosevelt Park in Edison, NJ off Route 1 next to the Menlo Park Mall. It is easily accessible from the N.J. Turnpike, Interstate 287, or the Garden State Parkway. When you arrive, Park Rangers will direct you to their free parking lot.
