(FLORHAM PARK, NJ) -- On Monday, July 20, 2026, Chip and Gus, a comedy with balls will be presented at The Thomas H. Kean Theatre Factory. The play is performed, directed, and created by John Ahlin & Christopher Patrick Mullen. Showtime is 7:30pm.
Two men. One ping pong table. A world of surprises.
Chip and Gus are oddball acquaintances who meet once a month in the back room of a rundown upstate New York sports bar for one reason: to play ping pong.
But tonight, something is different.
As Gus — a socially awkward genius professor — and Chip — a lovable, struggling composer — trade volleys across the table, an unexpected connection begins to emerge. What starts as an evening of friendly competition becomes a fast-paced, funny, and deeply moving journey filled with astonishing revelations and extraordinary heart.
Tickets are $22 and available for purchase online. The Thomas H. Kean Theatre Factory is located at 3 Vreeland Road in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Winner of a Best Overall Award at the New York Fringe Festival, Chip and Gus has been praised as: "A play that comes at you like a sharp volley and overwhelms you with wit, charm, and most of all heart." "A hysterical and touching play." "One of the most impressive things I've ever seen!"
