(HAWTHORNE, N) -- The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners invites residents and visitors to celebrate creativity and culture at Art in the Park, a free festival taking place Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 11:00am to 5:00pm at Goffle Brook Park in Hawthorne.
The event offers something for all ages, including live music performances, art demonstrations, hands-on activities, local artisan vendors, food trucks and a beer garden. Attendees can also enjoy guided walking tours of the park's historic Olmsted-designed grounds.
"Art in the Park is one of the most beloved events in our county calendar," said Director Sandi Lazzara. "It brings our community together in one of our most beautiful green spaces and this year we're thrilled to offer even more to explore. From local artists and makers to a special exhibition that celebrates one of New Jersey's greatest icons."
Nestled in the heart of Passaic County, Goffle Brook Park is a scenic 103-acre space designed by the renowned Olmsted Brothers firm. It features walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, a dog park, fitness equipment and athletic fields. The park is also home to the Passaic County Arts Center at the John W. Rea House, which will be open for tours during the festival, showcasing the Bruce Springsteen Born To Run exhibition until July 19.
Parking is available in the Goffle Brook Park lots and on nearby streets with legal street parking. The John W. Rea House parking lot is reserved for vendors only.
