Premiere Stages at Kean University announces 2026 Season
 

(UNION, NJ) -- Premiere Stages at Kean University has announced its upcoming season, featuring a robust selection of new plays in various stages of development. The season includes Mala Aria by Gloria Majule (winner of the 2025 Premiere Play Festival), Flawless by John Wooten, and Effa Loves Baseball by Pia Wilson (winner of the 2025/26 Liberty Live Commission).

 


Princeton Summer Theater Announces 2026 Season
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Summer Theater has unveiled its 2026 subscription season which will run from June 11th to August 1st, featuring an exciting lineup of three mainstage pieces and a family-friendly musical. Productions include Barefoot in the Park, The 39 Steps, True West, and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

 


Bell Theater at Bell Works presents "We'll Meet Again"
 

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Bell Theater at Bell Works presents We'll Meet Again from June 18-28, 2026. This is a patriotic and life-affirming story inspired by the life of Heinz "Henry" Stern, a true American original. This is a new musical by James R. Harris with Musical Arrangements by Mark Hayes. The production is directed by Daniel Kutner.

 


New Jersey Play Lab is Accepting Submissions for New Statewide Play Reading Series
 

(RANDOLPH, NJ) -- The New Jersey Play Lab (NJPL) has launched All Exits! NJ PlayLab's Statewide Play Reading Series, a new program serving New Jersey playwrights throughout the state. Its mission is to provide professional play development support to New Jersey playwrights residing outside of proximity to the New York City and Philadelphia areas.

Summit Elks Make Donation to Visual Arts Center of New Jersey
 

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- The Elks Lodge of Summit recently donated $2,500 to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey (VACNJ) in support of its partnership with ECLC (Education, Careers & Lifelong Community) of New Jersey. The gift will fund VACNJ's work with ECLC's PRIDE program, which helps adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities gain life skills with a focus on activities that help in one of four areas: social appropriateness, independent living, work enhancement skills, and community participation.

Tess James Named Director of Princeton University's Program in Theater and Music Theater
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton University's Lewis Center for the Arts has named award-winning lighting designer Tess James as the new director of the University's Program in Theater and Music Theater. James, a lecturer in theater on the Princeton faculty since 2019, succeeds Jane Cox, who has led the program since 2016. James is currently associate director of the program and will be promoted to senior lecturer effective July 1.

 


Trenton Ironhawks to face Adirondack Thunder in First Home Game on October 24th
 

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The ECHL Trenton Ironhawks will make their home debut at the CURE Insurance Arena on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 6:00 pm, when they host the New Jersey Devils’ affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder. The Ironhawks will commence their season the weekend before north of the border against the Trois-Rivières (Montreal) Lions on October 16th, and then travel to Glens Falls, NY against Adirondack on October 17th.
