Here's a look at comedy shows taking place across the state from April 16-19, 2026. New Jersey Stage compiles this list from comedy clubs, casinos, and performing arts centers. You can send information on shows to [email protected] for consideration in future columns.

The Improvised Shakespeare Company @ McCarter Theatre Center. Nirvair Pannu at Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center - Friday, April 17 @ 8:30pm. He is a rising Punjabi singer, lyricist, and composer known for hit songs like “Pistol,” “Bandook,” and “Kurta Pajama,” blending traditional folk with modern sounds. Born on May 28, 1999, in Firozpur, Punjab, he has gained popularity for his energetic performances and has transitioned into acting, starring in the 2025 film Soohe Ve Cheere Waleya.

Amit Tandon - Saturday, April 18 at Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center @ 7:00pm. Amit’s brand of observational humor is refreshing and contemporary that has hit a chord with audiences across India. Amit had made his mark with a super relatable style of narrative that makes him connect instantaneously with the audiences. His viral videos have crossed the sacred mark of a whopping 100 million views across the social media platforms.

The Stress Factory presents Andrew Dismukesis  (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The Stress Factory presents Andrew Dismukesis from April 16-18, 2026. He is a stand up comedian, writer and actor who you've probably seen on "Saturday Night Live". He joined SNL in 2017 as a writer and became an on‑air cast member in 2020, earning a following for his dry delivery and inventive sketches.

Howdy Stranger to Bring SNL-Style Comedy to HACPAC  (HACKENSACK, NJ) -- New Jersey's top-rated improv team, Howdy Stranger, flips the script with their annual sketch comedy show, Scripted, coming to the Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 8:00pm.

Terry Fator brings "Pure Imagination" to bergenPAC  (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Beloved Las Vegas headliner, comedian, ventriloquist, singer, and Season 2 winner of America's Got Talent, Terry Fator is bringing his all-new show, Pure Imagination to the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Showtime is 7:00pm.

HACPAC presents Corey Rodrigues – PAC the House  (HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The PAC the House series returns to Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC) on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 8:00 PM for a spectacular night of stand-up comedy. Headlining the evening is Corey Rodrigues, a powerhouse comedian who has taken the country by storm. Kim Jonny hosts the evening, which also features a performance by Linette Palladino.
