Teen Arts New Jersey presents "Creative Change Makers" art exhibition in Long Branch

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Teen Arts New Jersey presents Creative Change Makers, a group arts exhibition focusing on Sustainable Arts, featuring students (grades 9-12) from across the state of New Jersey. The exhibition runs from April 8 through May 1, 2026 at the Long Branch Arts & Cultural Center.

Student artists were invited to submit visual, performing, and literary based works that explore the theme of sustainable art, emphasizing on messages that focus on environmental issues and how they are impacting animal ecosystems, our health, our communities, and our futures. This artwork highlights the power of creativity in promoting sustainability and reimagining our relationship with the planet.

Guest Jurors selected top performing students in the following categories: Visual Art, Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Collaborative Groups, Community Arts Advocates. Those students will be awarded a special honorarium during an Awards Ceremony at The New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival, June 2026.

Join them on Thursday, April 16, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at The Long Branch Arts & Cultural Center for the Artist Reception and Student Showcase.

The Long Branch Arts & Cultural Center is located at 577 Broadway in Long Branch, New Jersey. Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Appointments are highly encouraged, to set up one contact Maggie Fischer, Arts Director [email protected]
