(WOODSTOWN, NJ) -- The Salem County Film & Arts Festival is gearing up to bring an exciting celebration of film, creativity, and community to the region, welcoming filmmakers, artists, and audiences from across New Jersey and beyond. On April 25, 2026, Salem County will host their first Film & Arts Festival in Woodstown, NJ. A newly released promotional video offers a glimpse into the energy and experiences that attendees can expect, while highlighting Salem County as a unique and film-friendly destination.

The Festival showcases Salem County as a place where rich history and storytelling thrive. From historic downtowns and industrial spaces to scenic waterfront vistas and farmland that spans for miles, the County offers a wide range of locations that support productions both large and small. Salem County is proudly “Film Ready” certified through the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission, demonstrating its readiness to host film and media projects and support creative industries.

Organizers are currently seeking film submissions for this year’s festival. Submissions are open now through April 9th, and selected films—including award winners—will be screened during the festival, giving filmmakers the opportunity to share their work with engaged audiences and fellow creatives.

While filmmakers are at the heart of the event, the Salem County Film & Arts Festival is designed for everyone who loves film and the arts. The festival will feature a lively lineup of activities and experiences for visitors of all ages, including: Film screenings; Food trucks; Live performances from regional artists and entertainers; Panel discussions featuring professionals from the filmmaking industry; Cinematic-themed train rides aboard the Woodstown Central Railroad; Networking opportunities at Farmers and Bankers Brewery with fellow creatives and those who love film and the arts; and Interactive activities and special offerings from participating businesses throughout Salem County.

The festival aims to strengthen Salem County’s creative community, support local businesses, and provide memorable cultural experiences for residents and visitors alike. Whether attending a screening, making new connections, or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere, guests will find something to inspire and entertain.

We are always being watched, always being seen, always looking. But where are we? Who are we looking at? What are we seeing? Is it all a dream? Who’s dream is it? ‘Bottom feeders’ are the lowest form of species on the pyramid at the bottom of the deep, dark, and unexplored sea. Sometimes, if you pay attention, ‘bottom feeders’ take shape in the lowest form of human beings at the bottom of the deep, dark, and unexplored subconscious. Bottom Feeder is a black and white experimental film, shot on 16mm film in a square 4x3 format. Vito Trabucco is a Los Angeles based filmmaker, is known for his award-winning films Charlie Christ (2024), Britney Lost Her Phone (2023), and Kevin Can Wait (2020). In Bottom Feeders, Trabucco brings you on a dream-like journey with a woman, the aptly named Pageant (an uncommon name historically associated with theatrical spectacles), who by way of nature, explores her own dream and the meanings behind her visions, both in her head and what she sees. A front door, fractured. A home, for whom? A doll, draped in desire. A sunset, alone but for how long? A reflection, a gaze. A location, unknown
