
(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Independent filmmaker Phillip McConnell will premiere his new short film, Tell Me Where We Stand, at Mill One on Sunday, May 31, 2026, bringing together local artists, performers, and members of the community for an evening celebrating independent film and storytelling.
Written and directed by McConnell, the film explores how different perspectives shape the truth during a couple's final argument. Told through multiple viewpoints, Tell Me Where We Stand examines the emotional complexity of relationships and the ways memory, perception, and personal bias can reshape a single moment in drastically different ways.
The premiere event will feature the film screening along with live performances and presentations from artists and collaborators connected to the project. The evening will also introduce audiences to McConnell's upcoming slate of film and media projects, highlighting the continued growth of Trenton's creative community.

McConnell, a Trenton-based filmmaker and visual artist, has built a reputation for creating work that blends cinematic storytelling with emotional and philosophical themes. His work spans film, photography, and glitch art, often exploring the intersections of identity, relationships, and perception.
