Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents Stephen Sondheim's "Company"

Sondheim and Furth's game-changing musical is a sophisticated and honest look at modern adult relationships

originally published: 03/24/2026

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents Stephen Sondheim's Company - performed in an immersive, in-the-round setting where it feels like you're a guest at Bobby's birthday party. This intimate staging pulls the audience into the heart of the celebration, surrounding you with music, laughter, and the beautifully messy moments of modern relationships. Performances take place across three weekends from April 10-26, 2026.

From musical theatre's most renowned composer, Company is largely regarded as a trailblazer of the dark-comedy, modern-musical genre and the winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Lyrics and Best Book.

Follow Bobby as he navigates the ups and downs of commitment, friendship, and connection, guided (and pressured!) by his well-meaning married friends and a trio of charming girlfriends. With iconic songs including “Being Alive,” “Side by Side by Side,” and “The Ladies Who Lunch,” this production brings Sondheim’s wit and warmth closer than ever before.

Limited seating. Immersive atmosphere. An unforgettable night at Bobby’s party.

Performances take place Fridays at 7:00pm; Saturdays at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Brookdale Performing Arts Center is located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.
