(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Oyster Point Hotel is thrilled to welcome Cynthia Pareja Dubin as its 2026 Artist in Residence and congratulate her on being named a 2026 New Jersey State Council of the Arts Painting Finalist. Works by her will be on display from March 31 through May 4, 2026.

Through the Artist in Residence program, selected artists display their works in guest rooms, reaching thousands of visitors each year. Each artist is celebrated with prominent recognition at the hotel entrance and a solo exhibition in the hotel's public spaces, highlighted by a lively cocktail reception.

The gala cocktail reception to welcome Pareja Dubin to The Oyster Point Hotel Art Program will take place on Friday, April 10th, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The final day of the exhibition will be Monday, May 4th, 2026. The Oyster Point Hotel is located at 146 Bodman Place in Red Bank, New Jersey. This event is free, and all are welcome.

Cynthia Pareja Dubin (shown above) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the complex connection between identity, memory, and the subconscious. Influenced by her diverse cultural background and personal experiences, Pareja Dubin creates visually rich compositions that encourage viewers to reflect on the deep relationship between art, the human spirit, and the world around us. She was born in Lima, Perú.

Her artistic career started with a BA in Graphic Design from the Universidad de Palermo in Argentina. In 2021, she received the fully funded Liquitex "Just Imagine" residency, culminating in an exhibition of her work at the Manufacturers' Village in New Jersey.

Oyster Point Gallery Exhibitions, initially conceived by President Kevin Barry and currently curated by Ellen Martin, provide a prestigious and viable alternative gallery venue to artists from New Jersey and nearby locations.

Both emerging and established artists, many of whom are award-winning, have been included in the exhibitions that are shown in the public spaces of the first two floors of the Hotel.

The work is primarily two-dimensional and encompasses painting, photography, wall-mounted sculpture, collage, and collaborative work. The Gallery is an asset to both our community and the Hotel's guests.
