Salem County Film Festival to Accept Short Film Submissions in March

(WOODSTOWN, NJ) -- The Salem County Film Festival is accepting submissions from March 17-31, 2026.  The festival will showcase short films created by South Jersey filmmakers and/or films that feature at least two scenes shot in Salem County.

Selected nominees and winners will be screened during the Film & Arts Networking Event on April 25, 2026 at The Blue Moon Theater (13 West Avenue) in Woodstown. The event will also feature a panel discussion with representatives from the New Jersey Film Commission and local leaders helping drive the regional film movement.

The Salem County Film & Arts Festival is a community-centered celebration of local filmmaking and performing arts.  Quaint, inclusive, and community-driven, the festival is designed to support, connect, and inspire local creatives while celebrating the artistic talent found right here in Salem County.

Films should be 4-7 minutes in length. Opening / Closing credits are not included in the 4-7 minutes time however, credits combined cannot exceed 2 minutes.

The Salem County Film & Arts Festival celebrates local storytelling and emerging artists while fostering community partnerships. It includes screenings of the award- winning films, live performances by local talent, and discussions about what it means to be a Film-Ready county.

The festival director is Sean Sepsey. The festival producers are Dana Yangello and Tina Pezzotta.
