Dance is the physical embodiment of emotion and perception, an allegory of our journey through life.
Nimbus Dance will present the world premiere of ANIMA, Samuel Pott’s evening-length work that confronts our most primal and precarious bond: humankind’s relationship with the natural world. Featuring three pieces that have been developed over 10 years by Nimbus Artistic Director Samuel Pott and acclaimed composer Qasim Naqvi. The upcoming performances mark the first time that audiences will experience the completed 3-part cycle as it was originally envisioned.
Jersey Arts is at the Nimbus Arts Center to speak to the cast and creatives behind "ANIMA."
Performances take place Friday, January 30 at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 31 at 8:00pm; Friday, February 6 at 8:00pm; Saturday, February 7 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, February 8 at 3:00pm.
