Casting Announced for Selections from The Rock Musical "Soul Searching" In Concert at The Triad Theater

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Casting has been announced for Selections from The Rock Musical Soul Searching In Concert at The Triad Theater on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 9:30pm. This special performance highlights about twenty numbers from this sung-through show and features a stellar cast from Broadway, Off Broadway and national tours as well as a live rock band.

Now in development for the New York stage, The Rock Musical Soul Searching is a unique burst of pop rock energy that follows a successful attorney living on New York's Upper West Side as she embarks on a comedic and ultimately poignant search for her elusive soulmate with the help of her married friends, all engulfed in relationship challenges of their own. In this presentation, Emily Schultheis is Brenda, Esti Mellul is Sara, Leora Lerner is Rachel, and Hannah Bonnet is Becky. The Date Shifter and Michael will be played by Michael Perez, and Keith Weiss is Rabbi Perl.

Tickets are available for purchase online. The Triad Theater is located at 158 West 72nd Street in New York, NY. Doors are at 9:00pm.

Cast Bios:

Hannah Bonnet (Becky) is an Actress, Singer and Dancer based in New York City. Hannah is best known for touring as Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde National Tour. Off-Broadway: FIVE: The Parody Musical (Ivanka), Big Bang Theory (Bernadette). Recent Credits: Television's FBI (co-star), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak), and the NYC premiere of Dandelion: A New Musical.  Hannah is currently a Swing in Exorcistic: The Rock Musical Off-Broadway.

Leora Lerner (Rachel) is a Rutgers Theater Arts graduate and long-time theater lover and enthusiast.  She has worked on and performed in over 40 productions, including Plaza Suite (Muriel Tate), Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Les Miserables (Fantine), and The Music Man (Marian Paroo).  In addition to being a trained actor and singer, Leora also works as a director and teaching artist.

Esti Mellul (Sara) is a NYC-based singer-songwriter and actor. She has performed in many productions, locally and internationally, including Les MisérablesPippinLittle Shop of HorrorsFiddler on the Roof, The 39 Steps, and more. Esti's original music can be found on all streaming platforms. @estimellulmusic

Michael Perez (The Date Shifter/Michael) is so thrilled to be a part of this presentation! Michael just finished his run as the Evan Alternate on the Dear Evan Hansen National Tour. Other credits: Insatiable (Netflix), Uncle Frank (Amazon Prime), To Her With Love (Hallmark), When the Streetlights Go On (Sundance), Halt and Catch Fire (AMC). Keith Weiss (Rabbi Perl) is thrilled to be continuing the journey with Soul Searching in 2026. His Jewish Mother is thrilled to see her son playing a Rabbi. Coming up on April 30th, you can catch him in 54 Below in Stepping Stones And Cobblestones: A New Song Cyle by Isrow and Raho. He just starred in the world premiere of The Springvale Armadillo by Donald Loftus up at The Open Eye Theater in the Catskills. (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Return to the era when families gathered around the wireless set for "theater of the imagination." The Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library will host a live presentation by WREP: When Radio Entertained People on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. A trivia game will take place before the show at 6:30pm. The performance will begin at 7:00pm. Join them for an evening "broadcast" of skits from the Golden Age of radio, performed live by WREP's veteran actors.
