Prudential Center presents Rascal Flatts with Openers Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane

originally published: 01/03/2026

(NEWARK, NJ) -- On the heels of their sold-out return to touring this year, country music icons Rascal Flatts will hit the road again for their Life Is A Highway Tour in 2026, including a stop at the Prudential Center on Friday, January 30, 2026. The Live Nation-produced, 21-stop trek will bring "the harmonies and charisma that made them one of the biggest country groups" (American Songwriter) to fans nationwide. Fellow country stars Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will continue to support the trio across this new run.

Rascal Flatts released their Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duets collaboration album last summer, praised as "a bold, celebratory reimagining of the band's storied back catalogue" (Entertainment Focus). The project features nine reimagined, beloved Rascal Flatts hits – including the "immediate bestseller" (Forbes) reimagination of "What Hurts The Most" with Backstreet Boys – as well as their record-breaking new track, "I Dare You" with Jonas Brothers. The trio "sensibly allow a string of pop, rock and country vocalists to change the oil, whilst they rest easy on a backseat built on their trusted formula of honeyed vocals and major key chirpiness," (Holler) creating all-new arrangements of timeless hits from their acclaimed catalogue.

"What a ride the past year has been! We're so excited to continue this tour, the response we've received from everyone has been overwhelming and humbling," said Jay DeMarcus. "We've truly had such a blast over the past year getting back in front of our fans out on the road, and we thought, 'Why not keep the party going?'"

"Celebrating their 25th anniversary as if no time had passed at all," (Billboard), Rascal Flatts made their historic return to the spotlight this year for the first time since 2019, commemorating the milestone with capacity crowds nationwide grooving to their iconic two decades-spanning catalog of hits. "Rascal fans who wanted to party were no doubt satisfied," (Arkansas Times).

The country stars' "nostalgic" setlist – including fan favorites "Me and My Gang," "Fast Cars And Freedom," "Life Is A Highway" and more – has every arena, fair, and festival singing along night after night, with the trio putting concertgoers into "a state of energetic euphoria," with their headlining set at CMA Fest praised for receiving "the most robust sing-along yet of CMA Fest's Nissan Stadium shows," (The Tennessean).

Hailed as one of the most influential groups in modern country history, Rascal Flatts are a chart-topping trio created by vocalist Gary LeVox, multi-instrumentalist Jay DeMarcus and guitarist Joe Don Rooney. Since their founding in 2000, they've cemented their place in music history with genre-crossing hits like breakout hit, "Prayin' for Daylight," "Bless The Broken Road," "What Hurts the Most," and "Life Is a Highway." Together the Grand Ole Opry members have racked up 17 No. One hits, over 23.4 million albums sold, 35 million digital downloads, and over 12 billion total lifetime streams, with 4.6 billion streams on Spotify alone, while also selling over 11 million concert tickets and earning more than 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People's Choice and more, making them one of the most awarded country groups of the past two decades. Now emerging from hiatus with renewed passion, the trio reunited to take care of unfinished business to release their collaboration album Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duets in 2025, celebrating 25 years of hits and the impact of one of the most influential groups in country music.

When she auditioned a cappella for the 2011 season of American Idol, Lauren Alaina's voice made J.Lo cry. In truth, that emotive pop-country coo is enough to power an entire concert today, but the Georgia singer gives audiences that and more. Backed by a lean and mean band, Alaina moves between upbeat sing-alongs full of Southern shout-outs (from Jason Aldean to John Deere) and heartfelt autobiographical ballads that often end with the artist shedding a few tears herself. It's no wonder that after winning hearts (and second place) on Idol, Alaina went on to tour with the likes of Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Martina McBride and Luke Bryan. Her music supports its old twang with new tech, and her knack for classic storytelling is infused with modern messages of empowerment, acceptance and self-love.

Introducing "a decidedly more country sound" (MusicRow), Chris Lane is launching his next chapter with current chart-rising single "Find Another Bar" featured on his brand-new EP From Where I'm Sippin' (Red Street Records/Voyager Records). With a spree of releases in 2021 and 2022, Lane's catalog expanded with hits like "Dancin' In The Moonlight" with Lauren Alaina, "Howdy," "Stop Coming Over," "Summer Job Money," "Fill Them Boots," "Ain't Even Met You Yet," HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 smash "Small Town On It" with Scotty McCreery, plus Dustin Lynch summer jam "Tequila On A Boat," all adding to his 2.2+ BILLION total career streams, three #1s - 2X PLATINUM "Big, Big Plans," 3X PLATINUM "I Don't Know About You," and PLATINUM "Fix"-- and five certified singles including 2X PLATINUM "Take Back Home Girl" with Tori Kelly. The Kernersville, N.C. native has appeared on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, TODAY, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and CONAN, and was featured in PEOPLE's 2019 Sexiest Man Alive issue. He's scored nominations at iHeartRadio Music Awards, ACM Awards, and Radio Disney Music Awards. He has previously shared bills with A-list acts like Florida Georgia Line, Brad Paisley, Dan + Shay, and Kane Brown.
