(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Asbury Park Theater Company has announced their full lineup of 7 productions for the 2026 season. Under the Producing Artistic Direction of Anthony D’Amato, the season will be presented at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove, with the exception of one show at The Vogel in Red Bank, a co-presentation with Count Basie Center for the Arts.

Among the season’s offerings will be two exclusive, New Jersey Premiere engagements: Jesse Malin’s Silver Manhattan, currently running at Gramercy Theatre in NYC, will come to The Vogel in Red Bank, NJ on Saturday, August 15th, co-presented by Asbury Park Theater Company and Count Basie Center for the Arts. In November, the company will present Teeth, the musical comedy based on the cult film, through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, in one of its first licensed productions in the US.

Mad Dogs & Englishmen - A revival celebration of the 1970 Joe Cocker and Leon Russell concert experience with Remember Jones and a 20-piece band on February 13-14. Two performances only!

Thornton Wilder’s Our Town - The Pulitzer Prize-winning classic American drama exploring the universal human experience. A special matinee on May 24th will feature a post-show discussion with Mary English, director of the Thornton Wilder Society. Directed by Bailey Dumlao, there will be seven performances between May 21-31.

Footloose - Youth Edition - Lose your blues as their talented Asbury Park Theater KIDS! bring to life this electrifying story with its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score! Jesse Malin's Silver Manhattan - New Jersey Premiere! Jesse Malin's musical guide to survival is the coming-of-age story of a young kid from a broken home who found life in the streets of New York City. This production is co-presented with the Count Basie Center for the Arts at The Vogel in Red Bank on August 15.

Once, the Musical - The live stage event based on the film with songs by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. Directed by Remember Jones with Music Direction by Michael Gilch, seven performances will run from September 25 - October 4.

Teeth: a new musical - New Jersey Premiere! Based on the cult classic film, this new, toe-tapping, gut-busting musical satire gets under the skin of patriarchy. It’s a coming-of-rage musical comedy! Performances from November 13-22. The show will be directed and choreographed by the TEETH’s original off-Broadway choreographer, choreographer of Broadway's Strange Loop and Lempicka, Doris Duke Artist Award recipient, and Long Branch High School graduate, Raja Feather Kelly.

3rd Annual A Big Band Holiday To Remember - APTC’s 3rd annual holiday fundraising event with local and national favorites in front of a 17-piece big band on Saturday, December 12.

“This is a big leap for the company, with offerings for everyone within or visiting our community,” said Anthony D’Amato, APTC Producing Artistic Director. “While we don’t have a functioning proscenium to present live theater directly in Asbury Park, the world connects our city’s name with artists and creativity. With theatrical concert events, premiere productions, and the retelling of a classic American play, this season we bridge the gap between the music and theatre scenes, and put ourselves on the map as an ambitious entity on the East Coast.”

Each production will include immersive offerings and VIP tickets, as well as a special Access APTC program, a preview performance for those whose financial situation may prevent them from attending live theater on a regular basis. Details for all to be released.

Tickets are on sale now for all shows and performances through TicketLeap, except Silver Manhattan, on sale through Basie Center and Ticketmaster TBA.
