The Second City New York Launches Holiday Shows

originally published: 12/02/2025

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Comedy institution The Second City New York is celebrating the Ho Ho Ho Holiday season with several holiday shows including Reindeer Games: A Family Improv Show; Everything Festive All At Once: An Improvised Holiday Spectacular-er; Ho Ho Hollis Holiday Special; and Work Hard, Sleigh Hard.

Everything Festive All At Once: An Improvised Holiday Spectacular-er is every holiday, all at once, with no script and too much eggnog. This chaotic comedy spectacular is perfect for date nights, friend hangs, or anyone who thinks Die Hard counts as a Christmas movie on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm.

Reindeer Games: A Family Improv Show is a fast-paced, family-friendly improv comedy show packed with big laughs and fun for all ages. Featuring a cast of quick-witted performers, every show is completely made up on the spot—no script, just holiday-inspired hilarity every Saturday & Sunday at 4:00pm.

Ho Ho Hollis Holiday Special - All the greats have their Holiday special. Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Sabrina Carpenter… and now Caitlin Hollis. Hollis is trapped in a ski lodge for Christmas and while she can’t get out, all of her favorite musical and comedy acts can get in. Come enjoy a night of the best improv, stand-up, drag, sketch comedy with musical guest Spare Room. Great music, big laughs, the perfect night. Performance takes place December 9 at 9:30pm.

Work Hard, Sleigh Hard - Throw out the stale breakroom coffee and celebrate office holiday party season with Work Hard, Sleigh Hard, a brand new sketch revue from the alumni of the inaugural Second City New York House Company. From fantasy football leagues, to eclectic beat poets, to some rando you met at a bar, Work Hard, Sleigh Hard’s cross-FUNctional team delivers the best operational synergy this side of Wall Street. And best of all, you can expense the tickets – it’s team-building! Performances take place December 10 at 7:00pm; December 14 at 7:00pm, and December 17 at 7:00pm.
