Nutley Little Theatre presents "Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas"

originally published: 11/06/2025

(NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre presents Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas from December 12-20, 2025. The play, written by Robert Fulgham, takes a funny, heartwarming and often poignant look at the struggle to find the spirit of the holidays amid the avalanche of commercialism, stress and chaos that crashes down every December.

The many delightful stories include a small immigrant child who comes trick-or-treating in a cheap Santa mask a few days before Christmas, inadvertently delivering the true meaning of the season to a grown-up with a serious case of “Scroogitis;” hilarious musings about a love/hate relationship with the vibrant poinsettia that arrives in most homes every December and hangs on and on and on, long after the holidays have ended; and a beautiful, deeply moving tribute to the winter solstice, celebrating nature’s precious annual gift of rebirth.

Performances take place Friday, December 12 at 8:00pm; Saturday, December 13 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm; Sunday, December 14 at 2:00pm; Thursday, December 18 at 8:00pm; Friday, December 19 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, December 20 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm.

Tickets are available for purchase online. Nutley Little Theatre is located at 47 Erie Place in Nutley, New Jersey.

The cast includes Ginny S. Crooks, Jim Simpson, Anne Kenny Simpson, Thersa Lyons, Andrew Swanson, Shail Choksi, Bonner Doemling, Heather Ferreira, Mike Gatto, Nelson Valentin, and Jason Burford.
