(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- A dramatic play inspired by the stories of the first African American aviators in the U.S. Army's Air Force will be presented on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Stockton University's Performing Arts Center. Written and directed by Layon Gray, Black Angels Over Tuskegee tells the story of six men who, despite Jim Crow-era inequality, exhibited courage and patriotism and formed a brotherhood. Showtime is 7:30pm.
Inspired by true events, Black Angels Over Tuskegee is a vibrantly energetic, emotionally captivating, award-winning drama that tells the story of six trail-blazing men who exhibited courage to excel despite overwhelming odds. The play follows the collective struggle of the first African American aviators in the United States Army Air Forces as they overcame Jim Crow-era injustices with intelligence, patriotism and brotherhood as they worked towards their dreams of an inclusive and fair society.
Tickets are $40 for the general public, $38 for senior citizens (65+) and military, $35 for Stockton alumni, $30 for Stockton faculty and staff, $18 for children 17 and under and $12 for Stockton students. Tickets are available for purchase online.
